What kind of prices can I expect to get if I go into a CD Exchange type store up here and sell off some of my CD collection?
Any insight? Tips? Amounts to hold up for?

I had Paul Wall- The Chick Magnet, PERFECT condition, everything is fine, it was like 1 year old. At CD Exchange they were selling it off the shelf for 10.99 at the time; I turned it into them and they gave me 1 dollar.F that.

Dude, why on earth are you going to sell your cd collection? They give you nothing, you can't be THAT broke.

My son wanted to sell some books to Half Price Books. These were brand new, never read, Redwall books (the whole series-of which I told him not to buy at once, but that's another story). Anyway, these were $100 worth of new books. I was expecting maybe $40-50 for the lot. They offered him $7!
I told my son he better learn to love them.

If you want to maximize the amount you'll get back, the best way is to sell each of them individually on eBay. You won't get $5 a piece at CD Warehouse or any other place, but you might on eBay.
Of course, it's also a lot more work.

do the ebay thing.
just make the buyer pay shipping and handling and you win out easily.

Hey! Shelly! If he wants to sell them I'll buy them!
I read those books back in the sixth grade, I'd love to have them!

Foo, I agree with you. There's something about an actual copy of the CD.
