Most overrated coach in the history of all professional sports leagues combined.

He won four rings because Tim Duncan was a great and unselfish player on both ends of the court for many, many years before age caught up with him.

In my opinion, Popovich had nothing to do with it. You can see now that Duncan's skills have deteriorated that Popovich can't coach his way out of a paper bag.

That would be the bag that should be over his head.

Pop is a brilliant coach. Sad to see him get tossed under the bus by a few shortsighted folks just because of this year's debacle.

I'm so sick of spoiled, bandwagoning fans that have no clue.

If we didn't have PJ I would want PoP in a heartbeat to coach the Lakers.

Class act, great coach, gets along with management and players. All good things come to an end. You are only as good as your players.

I saw a Coach disappointed in himself who knows that his time has come and gone and a coach who wishes he could have delivered ring #5 to the fans who supported him all along. The hate for the guy is ridiculous.

Pop has done all he could with this team. yeah, he's had some errors that resulted ina few losses, but the expectations coming into this season were too, too high. two guys that were supposed to help us in a big way are RMJ and RJ and to say they didn't meet expectations is an understatement. this team isn't championship material. i actually considered them to be on the Suns level, but either the Suns are way better than i thought, and are in the LA territory, or the Spurs just suck that bad, or both.
