I was kinda surprised Pop threw in the towel down 12-14 with I think 1:42 left. Given, the Spurs players looked like they stopped believing they could win at the 5:30 mark (except Manu) but for a team already down 0-2, I was surprised that even Pop would give up so fast in a must win game.

I know the chances of the Spurs pulling off that win were .5% but what is the risk in going for it? The season is already over anyway if you lose so you may as well try.

Beyond this, how is a miracle going to ever happen if you give up as soon as it looks like its over? TMac scored 13 points in 33 seconds against the Spurs. Shouldn't the fact that it's been done be incentive enough to try?

Also, I know Pop is big on not telling Tim and Tony stuff because they're grown men, but when they go 5-17 on free throws, I think it's safe to tell them to concentrate at the free throw line, yell, or something even though they're grown men.

5-17 free throws = not mentally focused. Grown men or not.

Tim's been a bad ft shooter his entire career. WTF does yelling at him do?
