.............and dont call me a bandwagon fan, just because Im realistic. :rolleyes The suns are just a better team. I sat in the 3rd row from the court last night at the game. I watched the entire game from as close up as possible. I saw that only Manu and McDyess came to play. Everyone else SUCKED!!!! I saw that the Suns could not miss a shot in the 4th, and the Spurs struggled their collective asses off. Get over it, those who are calling folks bandwagon. We all love our Spurs but the truth is finally here..............time to rebuild. Keep Tim, Manu, maybe Parker (who cant shoot anymore), George Hill and Blair.............the rest can go.
Oh, and by the way.........Richard Jefferson sucks ASS!!!!! :bang
Congrats to the Phoenix Suns..........the torch has been passed. :toast

The torch was passed a couple years ago, but not to the Suns. L.A. is the torch-bearer of the West.

Thanks we totally needed another thread like this. It's not like there weren't already 3-4 threads on page one about the same thing...

Odds are the Suns aren't losing 4 straight games to the Spurs. That 4th quarter was an epic disaster, the bench of the Suns was killing the Spurs 1st unit, that was a nightmarish 4th quarter for Spurs fans. One of the Suns players from the bench it seemed made every shot. Still though I look for the Spurs to win the next game with their backs against the wall something has to give, at this point try not to get swept or take it to a game 5 in Phoenix and see if they can bring it home to San Antonio.
Many people didn't think the Spurs would even advance to the 2nd rd and beat Dallas to get there who was the #2 seed. It's not over yet, the Spurs could win the next game and steal one in Phoenix, but again the Suns probably won't lose 4 straight games.

While it's true that Duncan isn't the unstoppable force he used to be, he is still one of the best scoring PF's in the game, and he's tough enough to play C in some situations, too. I mean, he's still a great player.
I definitely don't think the Spurs' window is closed. What if Richard Jefferson hadn't been such a bust? If he would have done what they brought him in to do, this team would be elite, no doubt. If the Spurs front office is able to make one another one of those big, ballsy moves, but one that's a little more successful, then the Spurs can be right back in the mix, IMO.
I don't watch the Spurs every night, but the guy I'd be worried about is Parker, not Duncan. He just doesn't look as focused/motivated as he used to. I could be wrong, though.

The question is do the Spurs even believe anymore? That was the most dejected I've seen them during a series since the .4 Fisher shot. I just hope they come out playing with nothing to lose for Game 4, but I'd be surprised if they're even gonna go with the "one game at a time" approach. It would be great for the Spurs to make this series interesting, but at this point, even dropping game 4 wouldn't be a surprise at all.
Sad, really.
