Back in the heydey every team we played in the post season would usher in a huge wave of new fans of their teams to post here. And its weird because most of you end up staying.

Did that happen this year?

Not really. I can't think of any off-hand. I think most joined when the Spurs were constant contenders and whatnot. But it's like meh now. Like trolling a Grizzlies forum.

No the invasion would have already happened.


They usually show up at the beginning of a series.

But I rarely visit this forum so was wondering if it happened this time in or not.

With dallas, we pretty much got all the dallas posters we're going to get.

Back then there was no waiting period and your account was active the instant you signed up. Now there's a waiting period, they all signed up at the beginning of the series and their accounts are just starting to get approved.

The waiting period stems the troll invasion a lot. I'm sure a lot of people forget they signed up by the time their account gets approved. If someone gets to start a thread the second they sign up and sees the reaction they draw from gray named Spurs fans, they usually stick around.
