Nothing personal and no trash talk, the Suns just hit their shots and took care of a business against a crappier team. I don't know who these DeJuan Bear and George Hill guys think they are.

The fountain of luck stopped for the Spurs. No more George Hill luck jumpers, no more refs that the opponent is 2-17 against, no more coach mishandling the rotations.

Nothing to see here, really.

I know you thought this was a real knee slapper and just couldn't wait to post it, but Anthony Randolph already covered it, tbh.

This does make the Mavs look incredibly weak.

Note of optimism: Suns went from not qualifying for the playoffs to at least the Conference Finals. There's no need yet for doom and gloom for next year...but then I remember a 38-yr-old Jason Kidd will be our starting PG instead of Steve Nash.

I thought the Suns were suppose to have no answer for the "three headed monster" of Hill, Parker and Ginobili.

Well people can't say that the problems I highlighted did not come back to haunt the Spurs against the Suns.

Oh well, at least we ruined the Mavs lives.

Mavs guards are terrible. Couldn't guard them, couldn't go off on them. The Suns guards are all dynamic playmakers.

Big props to Gentry and his gameplan, and the players for carrying it out. You guys made us beat you with Bonner, Hill and RJ, and well, bottom came off.

No surprises there. Spurs looked like they were going to miss the playoffs for most of the season and only played inspired ball for 6 weeks out of the year. They never fixed all their problems that were pointed out in many many posts and it only got worse since our bench fell off the face of the earth the second we got into the postseason.

I contended all year that this team sucked and played uninspired and sloppy ball. We got it together for a bit near the end and against the Mavs, then the wheels fell off. You know you suck when fans are clamoring for players like Ian and Hairston to save the season. Mavs was fool's gold. All we accomplished this season was making Mavs fans and players feel terrible for a little.

What's really incredible is that the Suns' painful loss to the Spurs on February 28 is what turned the Spurs' season around so that they made the playoffs and the Suns were able to meet them (and sweep them). I remember that after that loss, I was actually scared that we might get eliminated by the Spurs again, all because we might have turned their season around (which we did end up doing, as the Spurs went on a winning tear after that to make the playoffs).

Can't believe your team has zero rings after winning 50 games 11 straight seasons.
