Somehow I'm not sold on Splitter.....wouldn't suck if we didn't get him this year...and the pendejo decides to stay in Spain.
Stay:chestbump
Duncan, Manu, Parker (yes he is gonna stay), Blair, Hill, Dice (maybe),
GTFO:pctoss
Jefferson, Mason, Bonner, Bogans, Ian (This *** is always hurt damaged goods), Harriston.
Revamp the bench with youth... not sold on Tiago ...if he's a bust like Dick J. it's gonna be a very very very....long season. Not that Tiago is gonna make an impact ethier.
let's face The Spurs are at a crossroads... the West is freaking stacked now with OKC who has our number and better.... and I wouldn't count out being in the lottery next summer. Yes we were a 7th seed with 50 wins...but we even lost to alot of teams with losing records.
IMO We should have really gone young after the 2008 season...that's where the FO screwed us yes we had no money...but these moves that the Spurs made remind me of the 1991 season...Sidney Green and David Greenwood....bad moves...when we had a young team intact in 1990.
Now it's old players... but getting old players
Well at least the Spurs ruined the Mavs season this year.:lmao
Why so much love for Mahinmi ?

I can't decide who I like better out of Harriston or Hairston... I don't think we need both of them, but which one should go and which one should stay...?

IMO Hairston is better. At least he got some playing time.
I haven't seen Harriston on the floor all year long.
WTF Pop was thinking?

They both remind me of old Laker Happy Harriston.

I'm glad someone posted another 'what if we don't get Splitter' and 'players I hope aren't here' thread, there was only three on the front page...

Is this the same okc the spurs won 3 of 4 from this year?
spurs need depth in the front court and they need someone who can defend. splitter is their draft pick, they can get him relatively cheap and he can get PT immediately. what other big man out there can the spurs get instead?

I prefer the two gigahertz low loss model myself, but depending on what kind of TV you're using a 1gig version can probably get the job done.

Well, that's one possible nickname for him, if he plays well on offense and defense. I think some people might imagine something else though if we call him "Two-Way Splitter."

To be fair Ian was healthy all season long so not sure you can call him always damaged good. Did you know that most of Ian's problems was from misdiagnosis from the Spurs medical staff?.
Also what did Hairston do that was so wrong that he needs to GTFO as you put it?
shhhh, Splitter is the best player that Spurs could acquire this off-season. So this is Splitter or Bust

It'd be neat if Splitter comes over and just dominates. Like Hakeem did in his prime. I don't remember exactly, but he made that great move on Robinson in the 94 or 95 playoffs maybe. Up until that point, most had pegged Olajuwon as a bust in the pros. So there is no telling what Splitter could do.

The Euro is not as valuable as it use to be. Some countrys in Europe are in trouble and the value of their money is dropping. Could Euro players make more or even money here? Will they ask to be paid in gold. Times are changing!

I think there is room for both. With proper development and luck, this could turn into the new twin towers. This would also be the first time that legitimate twin towers were comprised of a black and white man. They could wear shirts that said "Ebony" and "Irony".
