When asked if he recalled that the Suns knocked the Lakers out of the postseason during their last two meetings in 2006 and ’07, Bryant’s eyes filled with disdain.

“What do you think? You already know,” Bryant said, staring through his questioner.

As Bryant moved off the of the podium and headed down a hallway to the Lakers’ team bus he was asked about the Suns again and used colorful language about the Lakers’ Pacific Division rivals …

That’s why Bryant can’t wait to see the Suns again. He knows he’s showing up to the fight better prepared than he was before. When asked if he was still upset about those back-to-back playoff losses to the Suns, Bryant couldn’t hide behind his emotions behind his designed sunglasses if he’d tried. He’s still seething about it. “Just a little bit,” he said.

Yo this is a scary thought...My Niggas getting ready to wreck shop on the Suns ass...

suns want kobe going kome mode on them.

This is a dangerous mood to be in...the Lakers will win if they get Kowe instead of Kome, so hopefully it'll be the inclusion effort and not the exclusion effort. Also, Bynum has to stop dreaming about his Coco Puffs and improve on his 6 pt, 7 reb, 2 blk effort.

I don't really see why he'd be bitter, the Lakers sucked those two years and would have got bounced in the next round.

It's payback time. Should be a monster series for Kobe and Lamar.

Pau has less incentive but should continue getting his 20 and 10.

This is going to be quite the series.

D'antioni will be missed in this series for entertainment purposes. I remember when Phil told him to "sit the fuck down." Gentry isn't that type of coach. :depressed

It's less about the type of coach he is and more about the fact D'antoni is a giant douche bag who acts an ass whenever he loses.

:lmao I know. That is what I was implying DOK. Is it true that D'antoni said to his players during the 2004-2005 season to let the opposition score so they could run a fast break on the other end to get a quick score? I am not hating. Just curious if he really told his team that.

The fuck? He should of had his ass fire on the spot if he did.

I doubt that story is true, more likely it's embellished, my guess is D'antoni told his team to let the other team shoot jumpers early in the shot clock because his system was basically built on the fact his team would beat any other team at an up tempo jump shooting battle. That's why Popovich's philosophy against him was to run for layups but not jumpers.
