Hmmmmm. Oh, that's right. In 2006 the Lakers blew a 3-1 series lead and received a serious beatdown in game 7. In 2007 the Lakers were curb-stomped in 5 games. What makes anyone think this year will be different? The Suns are playing the best basketball in the Western Conference since the All Star break and should win this series easily.

The whole bunch of 'em (Suns) (even Bell) were scared shitless, save 1....Yep Tim Thomas was just what the doctor ordered to go against us.

Did Smush Parker do anything in those series losses? Oh man, can't believe we actually had a point guard named Smush.

Smush Parker gave Nash the ability to basically just roam around and double team, Fisher missing his shots is pretty important for Phoenix :lol but Fisher stops missing his shots when the playoffs start.

What happened the previous 4 times the Spurs played the Suns (before this PO)?

What happened before can have an affect when the teams are still fundamentally similar in composition. Too much time has passed since 2006, tlong, ya rotten troll.

Smush was so terrible it defies description. That SOB would dribble confidently up to the half court line (like a real NBA pg), then he'd get all nervous. And on his drives he'd put his head way out there in front of him, the back of his fuckin' head would be absolutely parallel with the floor and he'd start a drivin'. Well fuck me, he'd end going too fast because of the incredible momentum the idiot had created and would run right past the rim and into the crowd. That SOB. I cried over that fucker. Actual tears, running down my face, sitting in front of the television...in front of my kids. Only saving grace is, they were crying too.

Yep. & God only knows what would've happened to us if we hadn't made that comeback. The three peat doesn't happen for starters. We take that for granted now because it's in the books, but, I cringe at the thought of what they'd a done to Daddy in the aftermath of losing to the Blazers there.

By all rights we should have at least 3 LOB's (probably more) by now and we have the Lakers to blame for the fact that we don't. That is why we hate you SOB's. The only saving grace is that in 77 we swept your asses in the WCF on our way to win our only title.

If you need to know , the 2010 Lakers are 200 times better than the 2006 and 2007 versions

And they are the defending Champs

yes, Walton owned Kareem for ONE year ...LOL!

All kidding aside ... I respect that fact you love your team and hate the lakers ...I respect that.

I just dont like when you post ridiculous stuff, or way pre-mature stuff, Tlong. You actually seem pretty knowledgable about hoops but you seem to let your Blazer goggles and Spur/Laker hate get in the way ...

You are overstating here. Let's look at the facts:

http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/POR/

12 seasons missed playoffs.
19 first round playoff losses. I suspect this may be an NBA record.
3 losses in the 2nd round: 1978, 1983, 1985.
2 finals losses: Pistons 1990, Bulls 1992.
3 losses WCF, Lakers 1991. Bulls champions. Spurs 1999, Spurs champion, Lakers 2000.

I think the only title the Lakers cost you was in 2000. Stern didn't make the Blazers miss shots in the 4th quarter or the Lakers make shots. Your team just choked. Exorcise your demons and just admit it.

With luck, Portland has 2 NBA titles, 1977 and 2000. Be thankful for the one you do have.

Here's a video of Durant's workout for you guys. Not choosing him likely cost you a title or two:

Good God those Laker teams were AWFUL. Kwame Brown, Smush Parker, enough said...

I still can't believe Kobe blew a 3-1 lead..unforgivable..all he needed was 1 more win..
