When Kobe wins his 5th?

More than Timmy. More than Shaq. Same as Magic. 5 more than LeBronze.

Serious question here. How will the average NBA fan deal with this development?

By continuing to make fun of your gay attraction to him (along with Andrew Bynum).

About as mad as when Horry got his 7th.
More than Bird.
More than Magic.
More than Jordan.

It'll be Pau's 2nd.
Half as many as Timmay.
Twice as many as KG.

People are going to be flat-earred, bushy-tailed, tight-lipped. It's goin' to go over like a fart in church.

It'll draw Bryant to within striking range of Jordan.

I can enter my house justified if Kobe ends up kicking Jordan to Number Two status.

Good thread, 21. Carry on.

I will be extremely pissed to be honest but would get over it in a couple of days - but it hasnt really got much to do with Kobe having more than Duncan, im comfortable with what Duncan has accomplished and dont think Kobe will pass him in terms of all-time status before his career is up.

Just dont really like the Lakers. I would rather see Boston win a title than the Lakers.

Nothin personal.

Watching Timmy take up the rocking chair last week Vs. the Suns lessened that particular mad.

Yo, Timmy is a cool cat and he's like the 5-10th best center of all time.

But Kobe won 3 straight, then he repeated.

...then he will have repeated... in your hypothetical world.

Or does beating the Jazz and Thunder constitute winning an NBA championship?

:lol

edit: or did I read that wrong, saying, redundantly, that Kobe won 3 straight, which constituted a repetition? I am confused now. :p:

I think perhaps 21 dickbreaths is thinking of what other fans would think of Kobe if he won his 5th 24/7, because he needs other people's opinions to go on with life, because his is so pathetic

I'll give him credit for winning his 4th title as the 2nd best player on his team..

Doesn't that apply to the 1st 3 too?

And seriously, 1st best player, 3rd best. Rings are rings.

You are judged by how many you have.
Russell - 11
Kerr - 4

Kerr is obviously 4/11 the player Russell was...

And even say:
"Hey phil you coattailing faggot you finally caught up with me riding jordans pippens shaqs kobes and gasols .. at least I got em fare and square through real work"

I won't be mad. I'm a fan of Kobe. And I like the Lakers.

Some Laker fans are among the most annoying fans in the world. But the Lakers team and Kobe themselves, I like them. I'll be cool if Kobe and the Lakers win it all this year.

If they lose, arrogant and obnoxious Laker fans shut up for the summer. So I'm pretty much in a can't lose situation.

Let me know when Kobe has more finals MVPs than either of those guys.

I wouldn't like it. But shit happens.

What bothers me is this comparing of jordan and kobe. If he gets another it's just closer to him being an equal to the GOAT.

When in my eyes that will ever be the case.

I'll be mad with profits. Continued profits, as my company makes items for Lakers and their posters.

21 Sniffs is a simple washcloth that I've added various smells from wrecking yard waste, and coloring materials such as McDonalds used vegatable oil (obtained for free) to give the washcloth a golden hue. I market this as having been used by Kobe to freshen up for mascara wearing photoshoots, such as his recent LA Times wear that has you Laker posters saying "de-licious". The cloth flies off the shelf and online ordering and the marketing dept has you as one of its biggest buyers.

Bird is a scrub. Besides, 80's titles don't mean as much as 90's titles.

Do you realize that Kobe might be the Laker that takes us past Boston for most title? How big is that?

Humongous!

That would cement his legacy and he would go down in history as the undisputed G.O.A.T! ;):toast

Can't believe these faggots are taking up the forum with this shit. I mean it's like that one crazy bitch who gets dumped, but still wants to be with the guy, so she pays a random guy to act like her bf just to make her ex jealous, while screaming "LOOK AT ME MOTHAFUCKA!!!"

The 90s was a laughable joke era full of shitty expansion teams draining talent from the rest of the league.

80s > 00s > 90s
