I took a picture because I'm tired of you Spurs fans proclaiming every season as a championship season. If you look way off where the sky meets the ground, you'll see Tim Duncan's career fading into the abyss. The fact that the Spurs were called a "dynasty" when they couldn't even make it past the 2nd round in consecutive seasons (Only done twice in franchise history) except for once during this so-called "dynasty", is a complete joke. Not only were the Spurs not a league dynasty during the past decade, they weren't even a conference dynasty. A dynasty rules in succession, or at very least, shows up to defend itself. Take a look at this year's Lakers. 3rd straight appearance in the Western Conference Finals, and if we defeat the Suns, it'll be the 3rd straight season that the Lakers have been in the NBA Finals.

So remember all those remarks you Spurs nuthuggers made about Kobe, post-Shaq? "He'll never make the playoffs"... "He'll never win a playoff series"... "He'll never make it to the finals"... "He'll never sniff another championship ring", ???

Not only has Kobe gone one to lead the Lakers to a championship, but they're four wins from a 3rd straight Finals appearance, and establishing another conference dynasty. All the time you lames had Tim Duncan, you've only made consecutive appearances to the conference finals one time, and have never even sniffed a repeat finals appearance. And now, for the 2nd straight year, the Spurs have been ousted by a lesser rival, and haven't been good enough to earn the opportunity to be shit on by the champs. Not only is Duncan's career entering its twilight, but you guys got sodomized with the broomstick and swept away by the Phoenix Suns of all teams, which is about as poetic as it gets.

As usual, the Spurs lose and immediately Spurs fans look for excuses and places to assign blame. Oh and you bums usually try and take credit for anything you can, such as claiming Popovich's influence has somehow blessed the Suns into a better defensive team.

Bullshit.

All that happened is you guys got outworked by NBDL-talent level players like Jarred Dudley, and picked apart by 3ball shooting snipers. Phoenix was better because Grant Hill is twice the player Richard Jefferson is, and Jason Richardson was more effective than sloppy ass Manu Ginobili. Amare Stoudemire has finally learned how not to look like a complete bozo against Tim Duncan, and Steve Nash's skill outlasted George Hill's lucky offense and Tony Parker's inability to take over games with the dribble drive. So while you maggots look to take some sort of gay credit from the "new" Suns, it was really just the "old" Spurs that are the reason for this brooming.

Through all the hate, doubt, and bullshit proclamations, Kobe Bryant stands 8 wins from his 5th NBA title, and the Lakers just 4 wins from its 3rd straight Finals appearance... and I don't see fukin Shaq anywhere in sight. However, I did hear he likes to fish, so maybe ya'll oughta hook up.

Good luck with re-establishing another false dynasty, Spurs fans.

Son I caught a piece. I'll cosign the shit out of George Hill's "lucky offense". Shame the Mavs fell victim to a scrub catching fire. Nothing new :bang

Yeah, the key to successful trolling is "succinct idiocy" [see: any one of luva's numerous threads...or Ghazi's post above]

For Kobe to go on and win three or four more without Shaq, all while sending Duncan home to watch will become the talk of legends.

The only time Kobe sent Duncan home without Shaq, he enjoyed his 2nd monumental Finals collapse .. "the talk of legends" as it is.

And like a true Champion, bounced right back the next season and took the crown again, and now will defend his crown, again.

Fine, fine post.

Kobe is indeed a champion. It's a privilege to watch him and all these great athletes play.

Bet you're getting excited for game time, huh?

Kobe has proven he can win without Shaq.

Shaq on the other hand, hasn't.

We all know what went down in the '06 Finals. Shit don't count.

Shaqs biggest contribution during that Finals was setting a record for poor FT shooting (28%).

Which makes the 2008 defending champs' failure to even get to the Finals all the more epic, does it not?

Why do trash talkers always fail to connect those dots?
