The Phoenix Suns will either have to shoot lights out or go home. And they're going to go home in 5 or 6 at the most.

I want an honest Lakers fan, who can put aside their arrogance for a brief moment, to answer this question: Is this even fun at this point? 9 other teams could've drafted Bynum, but they didn't. 40 some other teams could've taken a flier on Marc Gasol, but they didn't. The Spurs could've kept Scola, which would've kept them in hard contention, but they didn't.

The real issue is the foul disparity IMO 23-21 which favored the lakers when it should have favored the suns by a considerable margin, when considering the lakers played a much more physical brand of defense. Of the two, this is IMO a more important stat to look at as it means free possessions (and free throws once a team in the in the penalty).
