They weren't even close, and he was completely expressionless when he missed the 2nd. Looked like he expected to miss, or something. As the poster above said, FUCKING EMBARRASSING!

Is it really that surprising? This is Vince "I tell the other team what plays we're running" Carter.

He doesn't care about winning. I'd rather cheer for a rapist than someone who is playing basketball to collect paychecks.

In what world? I don't think he's even liked enough to get in. And he certainly doesn't have the credentials. Isn't this his first CF?

Dude, he's like the greatest dunker ever. That's totally Hall Of Fame material. I mean, Harold Miner is like a borderline HOF candidate, so Carter's gotta be a lock.

If you're asking me whether I believe he would have been a deserved HOFer, I would say no..but based on the criteria of the BBall HOF, I would say he would have made it..all-stars + ring as #2 + peak + aesthetics + memorable moments + popularity would have gotten him in IMO..

Carter was the most popular player in the NBA for years during his prime in Toronto, led the All-Star voting multiple times, was voted in as a starter many times, and has one of the largest fanbases of any player in the NBA..it doesn't count when it comes to accolades, but it would have been taken into consideration..

Surprisingly, Vince Carter statistically has a high probability of getting into the Hall of Fame based on the formula from the basketball reference site. Doesn't mean he will, and I don't think he will, but on the numbers, he has a better probability than guys like Stockton, Lanier, McHale, Worthy, Alex English who are already in.

http://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/hof_prob_career.html

But of course, I think the lack of playoff team success really makes him a huge longshot at this point.

I think he has good numbers
TBH on 2nd thought he probably is borderline (harlem is right)
and if he did win it all ...ESPECIALLY with a Finals MVP he would change my thoughts on it ...

I thought Oakley was going to kill him when he pulled that shit.

I think any basketball player with common sense would of said, "Fuck school, I rather get mentally ready for the biggest game of my life." The truly great ones would of been in the gym shooting J's getting mentally ready to play game 7. But Vince, nooooooooooooooooo, he had to fly to North Carolina to pick up a shitty language arts degree that he's probably never going to use that he could of picked up over the summer if he had missed the ceremony. Rasheed Wallace and Paul Pierce will be using that degree as blunt paper after the Celtics smoke out the magic.:lmao

Carter & Lewis were Orl's downfall..Dwight played well but a lot of their key shooters failed to show up when they were needed..Atleast Orl didnt quit after going down 0-3 though..They need to make some changes cuz I dont ever see them winning anything with the players they have..Great regular season team but they arent that hard to stop in a 7 game series.
