Yawn ...
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5205640
AP story, so can't include it here, but it's basically "I'll be back in the NFL next year if you guys make the CWS again this season." He doesn't say he won't if they don't.
Eh, this is more ESPN being on Favre's dick than anything. He probably just told that to the kids to get them motivated. After that choke against the Saints, the only thing Favre has left to play for is protecting his stats from getting overtaken by Manning, which, knowing Favre, is probably a big deal to him.

He's just fucking with y'all at this point. He already knows what he'll do. He'll either announce he'll be back late to miss camp or he'll announce retirement late to get the most possible drama and exposure and tributes possible.

The longer this goes on, the more likely he is to come back. He's just gonna wait for Training Camp to end, like Whiskey said.

+1
He doesn't want to go through camp...he will hem and haw and aw shucks his way until the end of camp and then climb down off the tractor and head to the Metrodome.

I think it's Bus Cook, who received some limelight himself last year because of the same situation.
If I'm not mistaken, I also believe Favre has another year on his deal.....not that they can't void that if he retires, but I think he knows he's coming back and new as much last year (especially in the event the Vikes fell short).
Anyone heard any news on his ankle, I can't seem to find anything on it anywhere. :lol

sons it made me smile so much seeing the Saints go after him extra hard in the NFC title game. I wish they would have taken him out for good.
