But if the game comes down to a late jumper steal whatever there is NOT many guys I want over Fisher ... Rondo included.

Sons honestly, you just need someone who plays patient, smart defense on allen - fisher does that, as long as he doesn't do stupid fouls, just needs to keep running after allen and flop when perkins set an illegal screen.

Fisher guarded Allen in '08. It was gross.

Anyway, the Celtics still have to deal with Orlando, they aren't in the Finals yet.

As opposed to guarding Allen running off 1000 screens a night?

Either one is a tough cover but the Lakers like the Kobe on Rondo, Fisher on Allen matchups. It's worked for them the past couple seasons.

Allen can get his. His play won't win the series. Reducing the effectiveness of Rondo and Pierce will be the key to the series. Artest will always cover Pierce. That right there is a much better matchup than what the Lakers had in 2008 with Luke Walton on Pierce.
