I think what is meant is the the highlight of his CAREER are his dunks. That wouldn't be the case if he was a winner.
I agree, I've never called Vince a winner..
He's my favorite non-Spur player along with KG, always has been, but I obviously recognize his flaws..he's soft, he didn't live up to his talent, he doesn't live for basketball like the elite players, he isn't a good defensive player, he's never been a winner..
I just argue all the misconceptions about him, because there are MANY..

Wonder if Doc will hold a practice tomorrow, and if so, for how long given the distance of this game?
Magic also need to run given the ineptitude for much of the series of their halfcourt execution and need to hope the shortened rotation of the older Celtics team gasses them a bit.

Oh, assuming I understand the retarded broom references correctly, I never said or thought Boston would sweep this series - you were the one saying the Lakers would sweep Phoenix. Unfortunately, Artest thought it was more important to brick shot after shot and Pau was too scared of Stoudemire.
I like our chances to win 4 games in a row much better in the next series if we make it through Orlando.
Now, shut up Paki. This is the internet and we may pretend we're all equals and all that jazz, but there are still limits.

Is it really surprising? Celt's worst game in the Cavs series was at home, and we lost to the Heat at home. I don't see why anyone's surprised, really.

Looks like Matt Barnes' back is getting stronger the way he's been battling for looseballs as the playoffs has gone on. Those extra possessions were key in stemming some of the runs by Boston and allowing Orlando to put together better halfcourt plays after gaffing initially.
LnGrrrR
05-24-2010, 11:43 PM
My ass, they played like shit. You got beat by two players in a closeout game on your own floor. Carter, Lewis, Peaches, and all of those scrubs sucked. You guys just couldn't get it done. We closed them out on their floor last year, and that old stiff Russell had to hand Kobe the trophy named after him, while PJ sported that cap that one upped ol Red. I smoked a cigar to that one buddy. Did you see Bill's face? He just slithered away like the snake he is.
I seem to remember a team the year before closing out a series on their home floor...

And you're going to lose to us at home, that's if you get past the lowly Magic. We're already waiting.
I think you should check the series. We're up 3-1, you're up 2-1. Don't you have to take care of Phoenix tomorrow?
I guess it doesn't matter though that Bynum can't figure out where to go against a zone, if he only is going to play 8 minutes. :lol

Is it really surprising? Celt's worst game in the Cavs series was at home, and we lost to the Heat at home. I don't see why anyone's surprised, really.
The Magic needed OT to beat us... no way will they take the next three if Rondo plays even slightly better.
The loss to the Heat was on the road.
We'll see about the rest my friend.

Ah shit, my bad. I'm forgetful on long days. :) Anyways, we play better on the road this year, for some weird reason. I'm not worried yet. Orlando wins the next two games, I'll worry.

Ln, finally gettin' his shit on.
And it only took losing at home in a close out game up 3-0 to prompt it.

Meh, I've gaffed on stuff like that myself, no worries. Orlando has a tall task against them, and the way they shriveled up in Game 3 would make me nervous in terms of seeing them come back to Boston, but maybe things are beginning to turn around.
I can understand your confidence, your team is still in full control and has outplayed the Magic for much of the series. I just hope the games are of the calibur of this one moving forward at least. :toast

I would love to see the Magic come back and win this series. I know it's a huge longshot and has never happened in NBA history but the Bruins choked a 3-0 lead on the same floor that the Celtics play on so it's possible.

Technically, they earned it after the Cavs series, and backed it up by going 3-0.
What kind of fan would I be if I didn't back my boys in green up when they have an off night?
I mean, damn, Laka sucks Kobe's dick whether he's 13 for 20 with 30 pts, or he's 9 for 27 with 20 pts. :lol

I wouldn't count the Magic out.
The Celtics are an old team and it is definitely not in their interest to prolong the series any longer. Pierce and Garnett were totally gassed at the end.
I'm predicting Celtics in 6, but I would not be surprised if the Magic can push this to a 7 game series.

Getting on some of that good Pakistani shit, huh?
Careful, Luva:
ISLAMABAD - At least 12 people died after drinking locally brewed liquor apparently tainted with lethal chemicals in Pakistan’s eastern province of Punjab, a news report said Monday.

I'll be hitting some Bailey's and Guinness when the C's close out the Magic. You better find a way to stop Am'a'r'e* next game.

No way this goes more than 6 games. The C's showed their age, which is why they need to lay it all out next game and close it out. They missed a few shots they usually make, and Rondo rushed some stuff. I trust Doc to make some adjustments, and Perkins to play better against Dwight.

If you like Bailey's, you'll love Sangster's Jamaica Rum Cream Liqueur. Shit is like liquid gold. Amare is toast. They zoned to keep from further embarrassment.
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check it out. I'm a pussy drinker; I like white russians and girly shit like that.
I gotta say, I'll be surprised if you don't close it out in 6 or less. Amare was pulling some sick moves, but I'm "questioning his motivation/dedication". If he's pissed about that, too bad. :lol

They need to come up with better defense against those staggered screens they were setting for Nelson. Other than that it's just about Rondo playing more aggressively. Something was bothering him tonight.

Except the 8 dimes, Rondo was pathetic tonight.

Agree ...Tlong.
But keep in my mind Magic could of easily wone Game 1 or 2 ESPECIALLY 2 ...
Game 3 was a rollover this series is A LOT closer than 3-1 ...
Dont get me wrong Celts have played well ...and have out-executed Magic ...they SHOULD win in 5 or 6
But if they Lose tomorrow night ...as TIRED as they seem ...they could be in trouble.
Celts play us tough no doubt about it Id rather Magic win from a easier path standpoint. They fold in most close games if their 3's arent falling ...
BUT from a vengeance standpoint all TRUE Laker fans WANT the Celts even if they make us a bit anxious ...given their overall advantage in our rivalry ...
