View Full Version : Do you hope the Lakers blow 2-0 series lead against the Suns?

Come on, a lot of you on here can't stand the Lakers. So let's put it to a vote. Who wants to see the Lakers choke a 2-0 lead in the WCF against the Suns? I'm not saying that the Suns are going to the series. Game 5 is vital. I believe that whoever wins game 5 will win the series or at least have a good chance at winning the series. Personally, I want the Lakers to blow their 2-0 series lead against the Suns. It would be nice to see the Lakers and their rapist choke so badly especially in the WCF.

Ain't gonna change the fact you let the Heat take your pants down and steal your cookie.

For the record, I did not personally lose the 2006 NBA Finals. Laker fans, you have never won any NBA championships either. Just sayin'.

Uh, uh, none of that crapola. You let the Heat steal that ring after you had it won. And you know what else, Jacob? Dirk & the whole kit & kaboodle of ya's were just glad that it was over.

tee, hee.

Yeah. This Suns team plays hard (at least the 2nd unit does). And while I dislike Nash's no-defense approach, and Amare's sour attitude (at times), I think all involved have sufficiently matured where I wouldn't mind for them to get a Finals berth.

and Amare's sour attitude (at times)

He quit for 2 games for Christ's sakes.

We ain't fergettin' that on this Board.

No f'in way.

Wow, did you really need a poll for this? You didn't already know 90+% of the non-Lakers fans on Spurstalk want LA to blow the 2-0 lead?

Preachin' to the choir. I used to be an Amare fan back in his 1st couple of seasons.

But I do like the Suns bench. And G-Hill holds a special place in my heart.

Too bad, we're going back to back, bitch.

Series is tied. Anything can happen. OP asked if I hoped the Suns would win. I do. Not a fan of repeat champs when it isn't my team. And Kobe's Lakers are not my team.

I am just glad there is more basketball to be played. I dread the summer break. This has been a very enjoyable playoffs for me (even with Dallas blowing it). I might even watch the Finals this year.

Blowing what? You never stood a f'in chance. Stop deluding yourself.

No son, the only thing that can happen is a win for us. That's all.

"Us?" You don't play for the Lakers!

I am sure in an alternate purgatory like universe, a-la Lost, LA has won every title since they moved to LA from Minnesota, and are currently awaiting the winner of the ECF, as the Lakers have already swept their way to the Finals...

A) I wasn't playing.
B) There is always a chance; that is why one plays the games.
C) Carlisle was uncharacteristically outcoached by Pop. Never would have predicted that after last season's ownage.

of course everyone hopes a #1 seed loses after being up 2-0

silly question

:lol

He's taken five 50+ wins teams to the playoffs and has a combined 30-31 record with those teams. Four of those five teams were eliminated despite holding HCA. Carlisle getting outcoached is not an anomaly.

Couldn't you just go back to being a Suns fan? Changing team loyalty is something you have some experience with after all.
