If they win but go on to lose in the finals how does the fair on the 0-3 comeback? Is that along the lines of the Patriots going undefeated on losing in the super bowl?

A comeback would be epic, but even the Red Sox had to win the series to validate their season. The Magic would be under more scrutiny imo given their seeding and early success in the playoffs.

Well, the Boston Bruins just blew a 3-0 series lead to the Flyers, so that would be a double whammy for Boston.

Would that automaticlly make Boston the new "Choke City" & take Dallas place. I mean the Pats spyin on teams & go undefeated until the only game that matters, the Bruins blew a 3-0 lead & now the Celts seems they really don't want it. We not even gone talk of the Red Socks cuz from what I'm hearing they're not even gone matter this season!

you can't argue with 17 banners over 0 though.

If the Magic did complete the comeback, the comeback would mirror the 2004 ALCS. The Red Sox came back against the Yankees in that series. The Yankees have the most World Series titles in MLB. The Celtics have the most NBA championships in the NBA (and don't really need any more championships for a while in my opinion).

so 17>0? That is consistent with this 4>0 I've been hearing all about...

Nothing will top the Red Sox coming back against the Yankees. That was the biggest chokejob in the history of sports.

Would also be similar in that Game 4 in both series was decided in OT/extra innings... and the team down 3-0 was within a whisker of being eliminated that very night.

The Red Sox were a better team than New York (IMO). Better pitching, defense and speed. Things ended up going the way they should have gone in the first place that series, they just got there in a very strange way.

Cosigned.

If the Magic were to win comparably, they'd have to have comeback from overtimes in Games 4 AND 5.

No where near the Sox, but it would give me a chuckle to see LA lose their precious homecourt in the finals assuming they make it out of the WCF.
