1) Who is your team (shouldn't be hard to be honest there)?
2) Where are they going to finish in the division?
I'm a Seahawks fan (circa 1999, 2000). I see us finishing 3rd in the NFC West: New coaching staff to adjust to after not adjusting to the changes coming into last season well, QB questions (which everyone in the division has), RB questions (Justin Forsett/Leon Washington who is coming off of a horrific leg injury will hopefully answer, I don't trust Lendale White or his Tequila diet), possibly improving secondary (especially if Marcus Trufant can return to his 2007/pro-bowl level form), still a questionable pass rush at best.
As far as the other teams in the division, AZ still has fits and some other pretty good receivers who any competent QB should be able to get the bal to, a good pass rush and offensive line.....the offseason losses might knock them down to 2nd place with the way the improving 9ners played them last year. I think San Fran takes the division with their physical defense and running game, and moves in the offseason/draft to finally solidify their O-Line.

Very difficult to predict given the QB scenario, as well as the inconsistent running game. However I believe the D has the potential to be a top 3 unit in the league. Also the schedule doesn't seem too tough. A lot will depend on how the divisional games play out. They can't let the Bengals punk them twice or lose to the Browns at all. The Ravens will be tough this year and the favorite to win the division.
10-6 and a wild card berth seems a reasonable goal.

You do realize that Mark Sanchez statistically compares closest to Jamarcus Russell's career path. And that he's coming off knee surgery. And that the Jets were one Colts tank job away from missing the playoffs completely. And that they had by far the easiest playoff schedule (shitty Bengals and playoff doormat San Diego*). The Jets are overrated as hell and I guarantee they won't go better than 8-8 next season.

Still, their Offensive and defensive (when healthy) lines are both rather beastly. Sanchez played smarter, more efficiently when the Jets went on their run and one would assume he's going to get better as he gells with the weapons on offense. They did be the Pats after all early in the season.

Dolphins.
2nd place to Pats at 10-6 or 11-5.
Maybe 1st since they raped their division last year.
Bmarshall to go along with Henne, Ricky and Brown and Davone Bess(top 3 slot WR in the NFL, maybe #2 behind Wes) and top 3 O-Line in the NFL = Beast offense
Dansby to go along with a good front 7 that drafted 4 LBs and 2 promising CBs with a tackling machine in Bell at safety(1 missed tackle out of 105 tackles last year).
Free Safety and Tight End are the positions that are weak though for us, hence the 2nd place
Not really.
I said we would finish 2nd in the division. Not hyping it up. Bess is a great slot wideout but would blow balls at the Z or X. Marshall is a top 5 wideout, Outside of that our WR corps blows. We are like in the 15-20 range for Wideouts. Ronnie and Ricky are top 5 RB tandems, and Henne has a bright future. We have a terrible TE corps and our O-Line is top 7-10.
Our defense might blow because of new coordinator in Mike Nolan, or might blossom.
How is that being a homer? Where am I wrong in those assessments?

You would be incorrect. Quite a few of us possess the intelligence to separate the city from the team. Personally, I like the Metroplex. I have tons of friends there and that is where I met my wife. Besides, there is nothing wrong with liking one team from a city and not another. There are also a lot of Spurs fans who can't stand the Cowboys. Despite popular opinion to the contrary, there are no set rules to fandom. However, I do think that city smack is pretty weak. You are correct though that there are those fans who do that and I don't get it. Im not saying they can't but I just don't get it. :)
And yes, you can root for the Spurs and Cowboys and still be a bandwagoner. Because you root for those teams doesn't automatically make you one but both fanbases have their share especially the Cowboys. I've been a fan since birth and I have seen tons of people come and go. Personally, I say that if you go, you stay away. Its easy to root for a 12-4 team....the true test, IMO, is when you are there and you stay loyal when they are 5-11, 3-13 or 1-15....I was there, a lot of you weren't. Same with the Spurs....we have a lot on this board who go "ive been a fan since Robinson"....woo....try being a fan when your starting center is Petur Gudmunsson and Frank Brickowski. :lol

All Cowboy fans are homers? :rolleyes
When people lump all the fans together and stereotype them as one thing it kind of tugs at my strings a little bit and I don't come across as a happy person.
But either way I will be rooting for the Cowboys. I live in San Antonio. Does that mean everyone that lives in San Antonio will be rooting for the Cowboys? No.

I gots no problems with Dallas, I live here and other than a high percentage of douche bag people it isn't bad at all. I've never been to a city I hated, although Houston I didn't care for due to the f'd up humid ass hot weather and shitloads of traffic.

Cowboys have been my team since about 1990. I have stuck with them through the shitty seasons. I watched just about every game even in those 3 straight 5-11 seasons. I expect 1st place in the division of course with Tony Romo putting up 4,000+ yards, 25+ touchdowns, and of course a shitty 15+ interceptions.

TO BE HONEST.....the NFL and MLB are a buunch of drug users, its pretty sad.

And the NBA is a bunch of WWE rigged bullshit. We know this. What's your point? Pro sports went to shit the moment athletes realized they could hold their organizations hostage for millions of dollars.

1. Lions
2. I think they inch closer to 3rd place this year but fall a tad short. Last in the division again at 5-11

Sooo..let's see...when you say the Texans are great, you can turn around and say you're joking, but when we say the Cowboys are great, we're homers? Yeah..and I'm the dumb one...let's be realistic, douchebag.
It's your entire body of work that makes you the nuthugging homer that we all know you as, not because you say the Cowboys are great in one thread.
Be realistic, dumbass.
