Wade Questions Loyalty Of Bulls' Organization

Dwyane Wade said that he has been a fan of the Bulls for a long time. But he questioned the loyalty of the organization to its players.

"I think the biggest question that you think about has to be loyalty," said Wade. "I know one thing about Miami: It is a very loyal organization. I see what they do with their players when their players get done with the game of basketball ... how loyal they are. I don't know about the Bulls."

Wade cited the the lack of involvement of the two best players in Chicago's history.

"I see Michael Jordan is not there, Scottie Pippen is not there. ... You know, these guys are not a part," Wade said. "Things like that. So that is probably one of the biggest things for me, because I am a very loyal person."

Coaching decisions do not appear to be high on Wade's list of factors.

"I don't necessarily get into all the coaches stuff," Wade said. "I feel the coach is only as good as his players. There are some great, great coaches around who can squeeze a lot of life out of their players, like Jerry Sloan. Every year he proves that."

Wade also spoke about this summer's leading free-agents talking and coordinating among each other.

"(Free agency) has been three years coming," Wade said. "We've discussed it prematurely, at different times. (But) you don't know what guys are thinking and where they're going. I think we'll all sit down, and before one of us makes a decision, all of us will have spoken to each other and (listened to the) thinking."

Wade indicated that he, LeBron James and Joe Johnson will act in concert this summer.

"A lot of decisions (will be based on) what other players are willing to do and what other guys want to do. So it's not just a 'me' situation here. We all have to look and see what each other is thinking."

Wade is willing to share the court and the basketball with another great player.

"I understand that you have to have a great team, a great supporting cast around you. That's all I want," he said. "My ego is not that big. ... I just want to win."

Bulls did Pippen dirty and they bickered about paying Jordan what he wanted until he forced their hand.

Wade makes a good point. Sticking with Riles is the best move he can make.

Wade will stay in Miami. There's not enough money for him and LeBron in Chicago.

Chicago is fucked. First PJ says no, now Wade. They should be realistic and go after some third tier players like Boozer and Joe Johnson.

:toast

wade really doesn't make sense there. everyone is either a slasher, or a down low type of player for their core. inconsistent perimeter players

Jackson Calls Cleveland Situation 'Odd,' Speaks Strongly of Lakers Return

http://nba.fanhouse.com/2010/05/27/jackson-calls-cleveland-situation-odd-speaks-strongly-of-lake/

Jackson coached the Bulls from 1989-98. He offered a rebuttal to Miami star Dwyane Wade, a Chicago native who likely will be a free agent this summer, having told the Chicago Tribune on Wednesday that the Bulls haven't been loyal to former stars. While Wade was primarily talking about Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen not being a part of the organization now, Jackson said many other players from Jackson's era are.

"(Wade) made some statement about the Bulls not being loyal,'' Jackson said. "However, he forgot that there are about six or seven people there (from Jackson's era) still with the Bulls like Bill Wennington and Stacey King (both broadcasters) and John Paxson (team executive) and on and on, Pete Myers (assistant coach), and so forth and so on. But I guess he was looking at Pippen and Jordan. I guess that was just the front of the Bulls.''

Jackson, who has been with Los Angeles since 1999 with the exception of the 2004-05 season, now has coached for one season more with the Lakers than with the Bulls. He has offered various accounts of his chances of returning next season to the Lakers, but Thursday's comments indicate those chances certainly haven't decreased.
