O.J. Simpson: Guilty, But Not of Murder?

Posted by David Kramer on May 28, 2010 05:38 AM

"For those of you who have no special plans for this Memorial Day Weekend, here is a fascinating video that makes a case for someone else committing the murders of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman (though O.J. was involved in his own way). Keep in mind that the author, like the vast majority of people, believed that O.J. Simpson was guilty—until he started looking further into the case. The video is one hour and twenty minutes long. It starts to become more interesting and compelling at about half way through, so stick with it. Feel free to send me feedback. (Please keep it civil—no tirades against me for posting this.) I will post as many LRC reader reactions to the video as I can."

I am one that doesn't believe he did it. I don't know if I will attempt to watch that long on a computer monitor. Maybe I should attach my computer to the 1080P on the wall, and watch it from bed.

As soon as someone watches it, will you please summarize why he changed his mind. Why does he believe OJ didn't do it now.

Seriously?
Absolutely. I remember when I heard some details thinking that he was framed.

What motive was there to frame OJ?

I couldn't tell you. To me, the evidence looked good until you got into some fine details. I won't be ably to recall after all these years, but the two that stand out at the moment. the medical stabilizing agent found in the blood stains, and the gloves not fitting.

Where did the blood come from? Who knows. OJ may have still practices what athletes of his era did, drawing their own blood, and giving themselves that extra pint before a game. His blood could have been stolen from him that way, or from a hospital of he had blood drawn. Yes, unlikely, but a good frame job is well planned.

Let's not forget that a jury said"not guilty."

Didn't follow the OP link, but I always figured OJ/Nicole were into some shady shit and pissed off the wrong people. One night, those people cashed out on Nicole and her friend.

OJ wouldn't kill shit, he's a paper tiger.

Meh, no conspiracy. He did it. It's too bad the prosecution was incompetent. What OJ did in Vegas tells a lot about his character.

This was a crime of passion....the crime scene was horrific....a hired gun would have simply blown their brains out...

No, he didn't do it.

Why did he run from the cops then?

the medical stabilizing agent found in the blood stains, and the gloves not fitting.

The blood stabilizing agent was an anomaly...the bigger problem I had was the crime scene itself.....there was a violent struggle...Ron Goldman knew Karate and judging from the cuts to the bottom of the soles of his shoes, he got off some kicks, likely some connected...

Why did he run from the cops then?

Simpson likely didn't commit the murder, but he showed up before the bodies were discovered...of course, he couldn't report the murder because either/or 1) he knew the killer 2) nobody would believe he didn't do it...

..so Simpson reacted with a most basic human tendency....fight or flee...

Yes, guilty of stupidity.

Simpson was considered a suspect by morning the day after the killings. he was interrogated in the early afternoon by detectives Lange and Vannatter. At that point, since he was a suspect, he was under no obligation to tell the cops who the real killer was. In fact, it would have been foolish to do so.
