That offensive foul on Amare with 2 minutes to go was disgusting, refs need to stop pulling this kind of crap. Luckily Kobe went nuts afterwards so it doesnt stand out as much, but that is Euro basket kind of a crappy call there, and god knows that everyone hates euroball.

The Lakers knew all about the screw job. None of them even smiled or touched the trophy because they felt guilty inside. LOOOOL

The Suns shot 48 more free throws than the Lakers in the past 4 games. We all know they've helped them umpteen times, but I don't see how anyone who watched these games could say the Lakers (or the Celtics, for that matter) were helped along by officiating this time.

Did the league get one of their dream match-ups? Of course. But it's not like this was that unlikely a finals. Sure, not many saw the Celtics coming, but at the end of the day, even at their absolute worst they were the third best team in their conference. It's not like either of these teams were the sixth or seventh best teams in their conference.

This game is not on the refs. They didn't make Gentry give Barbosa 20 minutes.

Stern fixed the NBA for a decade by gifting Lakers a top 3 big in the game for FREE.

The NBA is a joke. The best decade in the NBA was the 1990s in my opinion. Celtics didn't win shit. Lakers didn't win shit either. And yes, I know that Mavs didn't win shit either too. Can Laker fans admit that the Celtics have owned their teams' ass historically in the Finals?

We've won 2 of the last three Finals with them over the last quarter century.

How many have you lost to the Celtics in the history of the NBA Finals? Aren't the Lakers 2 for 9 in Lakers-Celtics Finals?

It's not the refs. It's the fact that it is a matchup of the two best teams money can buy! Thanks to Jerry West and Kevin McHale handing over Gasol and Garnett to their former teams......Stern gets his dream matchup.....a matchup between the only two teams who can sign superstar players that no other team can dream of getting.

Now I'm sure Stern wants to find a way to get LeBron to LA and D.Wade and Bosh to Boston.

That way he can quit caring about Cleveland or any other team besides the darlings of the NBA.......the Lakers and Celtics.

It's a two team league in his mind.

lol butthurt Bulls and Spurs fans blaming the refs for a series they shouldn't care about. The refs didn't make Gentry play the stupid Brazilian beaner.

Tell Kerr to fire Gentry so the Lakers can hire him as an assistant

It's not a conspiracy. It's a fact that when the Lakers or Celtics aren't quite championship material; they magically find a way to lure in a superstar player from a team that doesn't matter.

It's the way Lakers were handed Gasol and Celtics were handed Garnett......just enough to put both over the top.

Then, I'm sure Stern fell in love with LeBron, but he wasn't quite good enough. Celtics were next best thing. That's why LeBron needs to go to LA or Boston. Same with Wade....one or the other and then we will be guaranteed a Laker/Celtic final for years to come.

How exactly did Stern ensure this? The refing didn't decide this series, the players (and coaches) did. Enough of the bullshit conspiracy theories already.

BTW OP, your thesis is utterly nonsensical - at the start of the playoffs I'm sure Stern was praying for Cleveland vs LA because a lot more casual fans would have watched that due to LBJ than will watch the Celtics.
