Dude, you can LOL all you want, but when you put your heart out there like that and leave it all on the floor like he did, I can't fault him. Guarantee you many (if not most) NBA stars do just that after elimination in a tough series.

Nothing but respect for Steve Nash.

Hats off to Nash- :toast

you're a faggot. The guy is a competitor. You woulden't know anything about giving it your all and still coming short in sports though, the only "sport" you do is walking to the fridge to get some more twinkies, you fat faggot.

Should he have said :"yeah, we're probably gonna lose....oh well"??

Stfu faggot. He tried to give his team confidence, and he gave it all today.

Kobe and Fisher cried on the court and Kobe has given up during games and throws his teammates under the bus on several occasions. He's got the rings but is a 100 times the bitch. In fact that's more cunt-like.

DOK's favorite player "The Canadian Cancer" - Suns shouldn't have resigned him so they could win 37 games this year and get a top 15 pick.

Shoot, I'd be more concerned if players for my team didn't show any emotion at all after losing. Only way you can play a sport like basketball well is with confidence and passion, and Nash has plenty of both.

It's a difference between crying when you lost, and crying when you're a loser.

What do you call players from the losing team? Losers. Not saying Nash is a "loser" like a put down, but he did lose. I just posted this clip b/c that's the last player that publicly cried from the Rox.

Nash lost and I'm hoping the celtics show the lakers what that feels like soon.

The reason the crying is okay is because it shows that Nash cares. He must be thinking to himself:
"When is all the dedication and hard work I put in going to be rewarded?"

The guy played with one eyed swollen shut and then with a broken nose, and he put his all into every game. He is especially close to this group of guys and just wanted to get there so bad.

I missed that part, I feel bad for the guy, he gave it his all but everyone knew the odds were against them big time in this series. But yeah, I'm not sure why Barbosa got such heavy minutes, I guess they figured he might be hot.

Anyway, good win Laker players. :p:

Major props for Nash and it is tough when you make it that far and you do lose. That shit stings. Because you know the window is closing. You're closer to retirement than being a rookie and even though he's had a great career, not holding up even a Conference title will really bother the dude.

JamStone
05-30-2010, 09:12 AM
It does earn some serious props for Nash, I think in great part because a lot of people really thought Nash only cared about "having fun" and didn't care about winning as much as guys like Kobe did. I think it shows how much Nash did care about winning and how badly losing feels for him. The guy played amazing this playoffs. Deserves all the credit in the world for how he played, regardless of his age. If he were 10 years younger, he could be proud of the way he played in these playoffs.

As a laker fan I have nothing but respect for nash. He is amazing. Not once did i think this would be an easy series for the Lakers. Even with the last 3 pointer he made i was like "fuck no no no..not this again" Nash has the right to be feared as a competitor.

Great series Suns.

If you're laughing at Steve Nash for wanting it so bad that he cried after the game, you don't understand basketball.
