I was at the game. my uncle had bought me 3 tickets for the game. when we were down by 18 I wrote out the check to pay him back. On the memo part of the check I wrote for spurs loss.

LOL, what a game, it was so fucking loud.

this was one of those games that we played like shit and i couldn't take it anymore so i turned it off. i remember us being down HUGE. then the next day i found out we had actually won, i was stunned.

great shot. wish i was in the arena.

...back when our fans were hungry for a winner. I wouldn't trade four trophies for that, but I hope one day our fans can create that energy again.

It sucked being in the nosebleeds at the alamodome to see a Spurs game, but I don't think I've ever or never will be in a crowd that was that loud. Hard to believe it's been over 10 years. I was 11th row baseline for this game. It was my first and only time being on the lower level for a game. Looks like I picked the right game to not be a penny pincher.

excellent memories.

It's crazy how close he was to that line and took that three with so much time left.

Good stuff

Is anyone else from this game, other than TD and 'Sheed, still active as a player? I know that Malik and AD were recently on rosters, like in the last year or two, but they aren't now.

The greatest and most important play in Spurs history, bar none. Still gives chills.

Except for the fact that Sean was blazing hot the second half, and that it went in, it was a terrrrrrrrible shot.

The first few second of that vid, where you see Sean and Mario talking, I wonder if that when he said, "I got one bullet left"?

Nice...

I remember those days when the Spurs could score 86 points and win a playoff game.

I second Shoog's sentiment. Could watch that replay 100 and get chills every time.

And WTF was Pop thinking not having Jaren "The Eliminator" Jackson out there for that play? Should have fired him over the summer for that one.

This just reminds me of how much better NBC is than ABC.

NEVER GETS OLD.

I was 15 at the time and was on the phone with my dad while watching the game. We went to game 1 (which was close as well) and after the game went to eat at taco cabana on dezavala after the game and in walks big dave.

Great 3 days of memories
