People in hell want ice water. I don't think they're getting it either.

we need to sign barnes, trade RJ, and sign a good PF.

i would love barnes but he hates the spurs and hates us more for the incident this year with the fans at the spurs game behind the magic bench

Barnes has had his moments in San Antonio. I remember him getting ejected for a dangerous foul on James White(!) near the end of the 2007 season.

Barnes wants to get paid. Once you're talking 7 digits, any grudge magically disappears.
That said, I'm not too fond of him, besides the facial he put on Dirk when he was a warrior.

Trust me when I say you guys don't want him. There's a reason Golden State is the only team he lasted on for more than 1 season, he's a headcase who isn't worth it.

7 teams in 7 seasons. It doesn't take very long for him to wear out his welcome.

Didn't the Spurs work out Barnes a few years ago?

He's a scrub to borderline rotation player who doesn't know his place. I'm not too fond of stars who show up and argue with their coaches, but it's damn stupid when someone like Barnes does it.

I think he's been in a couple of times.

Eh, not fond of his shooting touch (33% career 3PT shooter). Plus I doubt he'll accept a low amount for what he's worth.

I thought he was expiring anyways after this season..?

Anyways, he's not going to be a Spur.

i can't stand this guy. not because he's good, either. he's just a irritating flatout player because he likes to talk, but he can't follow it up with his play and has never proven anything. that and he has a history of inconsistent play. with GS he was up and down, i never followed him with Phoenix, and he faded in the playoffs against the Celtics this year. he's better than in Hariston, Bogans and RMJ, though. so if we're trotting in with those same players next year, and nothing that's a signifcant upgrade over them, he's probably worth signing.

I think they where jeering at Dwight Howard after he missed his freethrows and proceeded to curse out Coach Bud for utilizing the Hack-a-Howard.

His skill set and talent would be welcome here. His attitude would not. Pass.
