No me lastimaron.

The game is always more aggressive at this instance

Its not easy to beat a team as tough as Denver 4-1, so we are satisfied. We passed another stage, but the best thing is that now I have a few days to rest. Not fully, because we have practice, but they are tactical and at least I won't suffer the hits from the games.

I'm guessing the first thing you want to know is what happened with the boos in Denver. I also was aware of the things Karl said. Well, I don't think any of this is an aggression or anything personal against me. We are in the playoffs and all the teams have to do anything possible to take advantages. This was a strategy too.

The same thing with the commentary of defending me with more violence. The game is always more aggressive at this instance. What happened is that in the 3d game I penetrated a lot and they fouled me a lot. Obviously, after that they didn't want to let me in the lane again. The day of the play when they ejected Anthony, I penetrated and knew they were gonna foul me. I was coming in and didn't know there were three coming for me. Then, I realized the play was complicating and I closed my eyes and said: "May God's will be done". They didn't hurt me. I stayed on the ground a little to rest, because I had been running side to side. :lol

About the series, we are happy because the gameplan was executed correctly. We didn't let them run and we were strong on the rebounds. They are tough and athletic. Not easy at all. Being a sub and trying to bring more energy from the bench is nothing new. When Pop mentioned it, I told him that if he thought it was a good idea, then I thought so too. I think I'm the right person for this. If it helps us win, I'll keep doing it.

It's true I was the top scorer of the team in these games, it's not common and it will be difficult to repeat it. What happens is that Tim had a bad night and another game he played little because of fouls. And since I was having a good series, the numbers showed. But the usual is that Tim should be the one to always play well, and Tony and I alternate a little behind him. Then, if it happens that we all three play well, then we'll be more aggressive. Plus, we have a very good bench. There are new players like Robinson and remember Rasho and Devin couln't play due to injury. There are a lot of weapons and people willing to lend a hand in every moment.

We know Seattle very well and vice-versa. In the regular season they started very well, many people expected them to go down but that never happened. They beat us twice. They have great shooters like Alled and Lewis, but at the same time they have defesive toughness and great internal game with Fortson, Collison, Evans and James.

About the rest, I could see a little of Miami-NJ and Boston-Indiana. I couln't see Chicago and Chapu because they played the same days as us. But right now we care little of what is happening in the East. The best thing is to worry about the West. We have a lot of things to think about on this side.

How many players have you ever heard of in the NBA who have repeatedly had opposing players say they enjoy watching him play, as is the case with Manu? Yes there are many fans who cannot stand Manu because of his impact on games and his style. However, given all the petty jealousy and testosterone flowing in pro sports these days, it's fairly unique to find a player who is frequently admired by his opponents.

Smeagol you talked me into it. This is a repost for Lunch, and the DingleTurd guy:

Chopper's translation. Remember, my Spanish is a little rusty:

We beat the 7th seeded Nuggets. . yeah, big deal. The hottest team in basketball that no one wanted to face? Play-doh to us. Yeah I'm happy! Happy no one took my head off! We made it into the next round and now I have a couple of days to get my neck adjusted. We still have to practice, but at least I’m not going to suffer the freaking cheap shots those no-talent Nuggets were laying on me.

I believe the first thing people want to know is about the boos in Denver. I also heard Karl’s comments about me. I don’t think all of this has been a direct aggression toward me, and I don’t take it personal. I can sum it all up very succinctly. . .pussy fans and a pussy coach. It's that simple. Don't boo me, boo your team that loses four in a row after losing only four in three months!

Likewise with regards to the comments that opposing teams were guarding in a more violent manner. Playoff games are more aggressive. Fortunately I'm a freaking stud and can take it. On that particular play where Carmelo Anthony was ejected, I attacked the rim by penetrating, knowing I was going to be fouled. When I saw three guys coming to guard me I thought to myself “Dear God, make me a bird so I can fly far, far away." They did not hurt me because I am "Super Manu". I stayed on the floor for a while to rest because I had been running the floor and was a bit tired. Dominating a game is exhausting, even for someone as amazing as myself.

As for the series, we were just simply better. Better shooters, better rebounders, better defenders, better looking. Coming off the bench to bring some energy to the game and to my team is not new for me. When Pop told me about it, I said to him that I'm a freaking all-star, damnit, but I'd do what's right for the team and that we'd discuss contract re-negotiations this summer. It's all about the blingity bling, and besides, this little move simply reinforces my image as a stand-up guy, so I figure, why the hell not?

Even though I was the top scorer in this series, it will be difficult for me to repeat this in the coming series. Heck, I could score 40 a night on any of the other teams in this league, but we here in San Antonio have this amazing play called 4-down. So, usually, it’s Timmy who will be playing at the top of his game, with Tony and myself alternating as the second fiddle. If Pop says "let the boys run", even better, no man can stop me. There’s new teammates, such as Glen Robisnon, and some of our other players, such as Rasho and Devin, have not been able to play due to injuries. We have a lot of weapons, so I sincerely hope we can add a third offensive play.

With Seattle we know each other very well. They started the regular season on fire, and people were expecting them to fade away, but they hung tough. We split the regular series 2-2. They have very good shooters, such as Allen and Lewis, and at the same time they have tough bigs, such as Fortson, Collison, Evans and James. Not likely that they'll beat us, but as Brian Urlacher of the Chicago Bears once said, "every once in a while even a blind squirrel finds the ocean."

Of the other playoff series I was able to watch a little bit of Miami NJ and Boston Indiana. I could not watch Chicago and Chapu (Nocioni) because he was playing at the same time as we were. But what ever happens in the Eastern Conference is not important to us. We have to be mindful of what happens in the West because we don't want to show up at the wrong arena for any road games. We have a lot of things we should be focusing on, primary among them is fighting over the best seats on the team's charter.
