On Mikhail Prokhorov:
“I haven’t met him yet. I took Russian in high school and a little bit in college, so I can’t wait to give him a hard time. I want to party with this dude. Can you imagine him on South Beach when they’re playing the Heat?”

ok this really isn't a good topic, but Cuban isn't saying something dumb this one time, who wouldn't want to party with Prokhorov, I mean really now.

This lame ass Russian will be selling that team in five years. No titles, no playoffs, and no glory.

sorry, but you will be wrong next year when they are in the playoffs, because they are a better team then their record showed this past season and they do have room to make trades for good players and no I'm not saying you know who as a good player. They will be in the playoffs and they will have a title:toast

That would be a really lonely party, I mean why would Prokhorov want to party with a nerd like Cuban when he could just party with Jay-z:lol

They could be twice the team they were last season and be 24-58.:lol

Or three times and be 36-46. Which would still leave them out of the playoffs.:lmao

Quick, somebody look up the biggest turnaround from one season to the next. If the Nets match it, what will their record be?

Wouldn't that be the Spurs from 1988-89 (21-61) to 1989-90 (56-26)?

New Jersey could get all the way to 47 wins with that level of turnaround. Which would most likely get them into the playoffs.

It was until the Celtics broke it after the Garnett and Allen trades. In the 06-07 season the Celtics were 24-58 and in the 07-08 season they went 66-16

Nets landing James + Bosh/Lee/Boozer/Amare and its easily 50+ games more next season and that record would be probably forever.

unless you watched all the games you can't really tell. First they had 8 players for the first month or so, then they had the coach fired and didn't get a true coach and they really couldn't spend money at all because of that guy named Ratner and remember they are a young team and pretty much only Harris had more then 2 years in the NBA, trust me old man they will be much much better next year, now I'm not going to be like Mav fans are and say they will deff win because any team in the NBA can do anything and get better because players get hurt, but they will make the playoffs next season and it won't be shocking most Net fans and most people who actually have watched more then 1 or 2 Net games can tell you that:toast
