Good luck to the Celtics trying to win a closeout game on the Lakers' home floor. That's not happening.

man this laker size is really giving the celts some problems its just as much that gasol has gotten better as it is that garnett is not what he was in 2008. a healthy garnett would not be missing layups under the basket or passing up on a jumper to pass to rondo behind the basket....garnett I have to believe is frustrated

I don't get why some people think Boston can't still win this series. It was just 1 game and Ray Allen was in foul trouble and the Celtics are going to be ready to play game 2. Even if Boston loses game 2 they could still win 3 straight home games or tie the series up in Boston. The Lakers almost lost a home game to Phoenix, they are good in LA but Boston can win a road game there.

The Colonel has won 40-odd consecutive playoff series in which his team won game 1. Unless there is a major injury to a Lakeshow key player, that trend is going to continue.

Yep, 2 is equally as important as 1 was. 2-0 will dent their spirit. Best case scenario they'd have to come back to CA. to win it. And 2-0 will blunt their crowd a measure for the Boston games. Just take the edge off them.

We'll go for it Sunday night. 2-0 in this series isn't 3-0, but, it's teetering on it.

I honestly think that Kobe will not take his foot off the gas pedal, and with ron ron being himself, pierce can't bully his way to the hole so much no more.

LAL repeat brochachos.

Split in the first two in LA, Celtics take 2 out of three in Boston and they will get the 4th W in LA either in game 6 or 7.

I just find it hillarious how they were all collectively creaming in their pants after that game 1 victory AT HOME. On the road I could maybe understand.

well that's most Laker Fans..... hell, they better be those road warriors and get at least one in Boston. And even if they do, Boston plays pretty damn good on the road especially in these playoffs.

It'd be just as foolish for Celtic fans/Laker haters to be doing that after tonight. If anything they ought to be concerned for the Celts. Celts aren't winning this series unless KG gets it going. They got away with it tonight and might get away with it 1 more time but that'll be it. I am happy they won but I am starting to see a pattern here that's very concerning for me.

I agree. Hopefully going home will get KG going. But I am starting to think he has some sort of injury, or Bynum is just really bothering him. Rivers needs to come up with some way on getting Pierce open on some screens or something to help him get it going against Artest. Maybe if he hits a few shots it will get his confidence up.
