Maybe it's time to trade George Hill while his price is riding an all time high.

Deal with Portland to get the guy the Spurs really wanted: Nicolas Batum.

Thoughts?

I would rather trade our pick for Batum than Hill...

You want to get closer results in a "trade Hill" thread? Try Hill for Batum.

Someone listened, Obi. :lol

Why does everyone want to trade Hill? Haha we're keeping him. No Brooks, Lee, or Batum

Portland wouldn't do that trade regardless.

No.

Batum could be damaged goods. Even after a big surgery done last fall to his shoulder, he had troubles with it during the playoffs. Batum could end up having troubles with his shoulder during his whole career.

The Spurs are not trading Hill. Pop likes him too much, and hes one of our young guys that can be a bright spot goin to the future.

That would be a trade which is tempting. This would net the Spurs an athletic wing for an undersized SG.

Still, Portland wouldn't agree ... Hill is not a PG and the SG position is filled with Roy and Fernandez.

Portland dicked us over to get Batum..what makes you think that they would be willing to give him up? Answer is, they wouldn't.

First of all, I doubt Pritchard would do any deal with the Spurs. Secondly, I would not want the Spurs to trade Hill nor do I think they would do it. Batum, IMO, isn't really THAT good that the Spurs should give up their future star in Hill, for Batum.

...and at this point, if I'm the Spurs, I would probably not want to do a deal with Pritchard either.

What's the deal with the bad blood between Pritchard and the Spurs? Pritchard was once a scout with the Spurs, right?
