Are you trying to tell us US citizens don't lie?

We saw the video. the Israelis were attacked as soon as they boarded.

So the guy is a US, Irish, and Palestinian citizen and he admits he took a hand gun and an assault rifle off Israeli soldiers. Why exactly did you post this?

Guy in the video:

In 1999 I renounced my US citizenship in shame and disgust having arrived at the logical, albeit belated, conclusion that my government was not worthy of my funding - through taxes - and certainly not my allegiance. Paying for roads and schools is one thing, paying for "Weapons of Mass Destruction" to the point of insanity and nurturing global oppression is another thing all together. No moral being can be compelled to fund war, death and murder.

Sounds like he's pretty selective in his objections.

"We saw the video"

all the vids taken by the boat people were confiscated. For a person who hates govt, you are hypocritically ready to believe the Israeli chopped video. Or maybe it's the IDF that you think is worth believing.

boutons, neither one of them "hates" government categorically.

I, otoh, do without question. When civilians are killed by government officials, my lens tends to focus on the government first.

BTW, Israel has admitted to doctoring/editing the released videos.

I though they only took out the parts of silence. As for doctoring?

Link please.

well, damn, perhaps they could produce those "parts of silence" so that others could verify they are indeed just "parts of silence". You know, in the spirit of finding out the truth... Obviously, this can't be done, but you can see where people might be a little aprehensive towards just taking the word of the Israeli government that they were, in fact, just "parts of silence".

Where is the link they admitted to doctoring?

Editing, yes. Doctoring implies something entirely different.

DAMN seriously if you have a injured guy down, do you need to subdue him with bullets?

Is that a 9mm that soldier is holding? Why is there music added to the video?

he was probably reaching for the skittles in his pocket.

I just find it odd that there's music added when it's unclear what the solider is doing with the gun besides reloading it. It's also curious because the forensics said almost all the bullets recovered from the casualties were 9mm. Is that gun a 9mm?

So was Rachel Corrie.

Standing between houses concealing smuggling tunnels and bulldozers and, setting sail on an flotilla intent on running a blockade imposed by a nation simply trying to prevent the smuggling of illicit arms can be risky.

Corrie was asking for it. It was the way she was dressed.

I'm eagerly anticipating the flotilla(s) that are heading for Turkish Kurds.

I don't believe the simple portrayal. Besides, why was the clip edited?

What if he pulled a pistol when he was down?

Too many other possibilities. Too much not seen.

When the clip breaks and resumes, what if they did a Hollywood style cut, replacing it with a stages scene.

Again, too many possibilities, including it could have happened as portrayed, but i don't believe it.
