I'm surprised... I really did think he was one of the 5 worst starting PG's in the league.

And quite frankly, he was in the reg season.

Fish could be doing this every season from the bench. Which was my point.

DFish, great game in the 4th, actually made a few layups.
Kobe shot like hell, but had some good plays down the stretch.
Great D on the other end

Fish is a man among boys. Kobe is lucky to have a class act leader at this caliber playing with him. Seriously speaking, without Fisher, I dont think LA wins a championship this year and last. He's just that big for Los Angeles.

It's a team game, Chris.
No doubt but there are certain players out there of utmost importance. Fisher along with Kobe, Gasol, and maybe Odom IMO is the team right now. The rest are just coming along for the ride.

No doubt, Fisher has been an essential element of Lakers Championship basketball. He's a special player, a real difference-maker.

I'd be interested to know his motivation/training regimen. It appears he has absolutely conquered pressure.

Just thinking about the Spurs dreadful offensive woes, those awful offensive droughts that have killed us - how great it would have been to have a guy like Fisher and his timely, timely baskets.

He's emotionally vested.

He's like a bull in a china closet, he really wants it.

There is no fear of failure. He's conquered that mental block.

And how do you pronounce the new name? Been meaning to ask.

Those are special. When she starts yelling at everybody and laying down the law, she's just precious.

I don't think fear can or even should be conquered. It's how you deal with it.

In any case, perhaps Fisher would make a great coach one day. He certainly knows a thing or two about making the most out of opportunities.

Yeah, between Kobe and Fisher, who do you want shooting the ball in the 4th quarter of a finals game?

Other than today, Kobe has been creating Fisher's clutch shots.

Props to Fisher for creating all those shots down the stretch.

Hasn't been their best player.

not even close.

But he's had the biggest pair in this series.

When your nads are bigger than Kobe's that's saying something.

Not so.

He penetrated a lot in Game 1 too.

Tonight was fantastic.

I have zero clue where all this came from. Would never have dreamed he'd be doing this against one of the best defensive teams in the league.

It's like watching Bynum take and make 3 pointers. Talk about expanding the skillset at the right time.

Fish costs the Lakers points on the defensive end but you got to admire his heart, toughness, and clutchness.

That's basically the biggest compliment you can give to an opposing player.

I will say though, in defense of Kobe tonight... he played amazing all game long on the defensive end. He really set the tone
