Haters....everybody on Drew's dick.

What can you say about this kid?

Age 22. Needs surgery immediately when this season is over.

Guy is out there playing fucking huge.

Fisher deserves all the praise today.

And Pau and Kobe will get it all after we ring 16 IN boston.

But damn this guy these first 3 games has fucking BROUGHT IT.

milkshake, you are a cool poster and all, but weren't you ripping him at the beginning of the season? Not to toot my own horn, but the only two Laker fans non Bynum's bandwagon the whole season were me and 21.

I was frustrated with him.

The guy was a fucking blackhole for quite a while.

I never doubted his skills. It's his heart and mentality I questioned.

The way he has played in these finals has answered them for me.

I always said Bynum is a good player, it's not surprising..he becomes extremely overrated by Laker fans when he has big games, but he's obviously a good player..

He's emotionally involved now. He wants, He hates, He desires, He's mad, He's deprived.

I've been on his bandwagon for years.

Can't judge young players for a while. Even now he clearly hasn't put it all together constently, but it is very encouraging that when the team needs him most he's really stepped up.

He may never be consistent, he may be chronically injured, hard to say. But I've seen enough great stuff out of him to convince me he's worth keeping under almost all circumstances.

Very Philip Roth-ian of you.

Bynum won't be traded because of his minor knee injury and it will be the best thing for the Lakers in the long run.

I'd still trade his ass for Bynum. I'm all about upgrading.

Wil Bynum?

I can't believe Bynum has played so well, and so consistently. He's been the major difference maker in the series. I expected Gasol to play this well.

Not true.

I have always been a supporter of Drew. He's making a big difference in this series regardless of stats. Just his presence in the paint is being felt. :toast

yup... I proposed a Haywood & Roddy Beaubois for Bynum trade last week. (and my fellow Maverick fans kept telling me they'd never do it of course) Bynum's going to be a dominant big man in this league for a long time.... God how I wish he wasn't a freakin Laker

Bullshit. I also praised bynum. And defended him against the Spur/Blazer fan haters etc.

Only thing I have even posted negative on bynum is lack of health and that if a Bosh deal was on the table we would have to at least CONSIDER it due to the Kobe/Pau window not being very long (as high levelelite players maybe 3 more seasons)

I think bynum has a bright future IF he can stay healthy in fact I also was one of the ones who thought FUTURE all-star ...again ...IF healthy.

Does the OP ever have a good opinion? You've flip flopped on everything this season.

Trading him for Bosh would be dumb. Bynum is what gives the Lakers their biggest advantage over most opponents. Size. Bosh would have nowhere near the impact in LA that he has at Toronto.

I don't post often but I've always been a Bynum fan. On Laker boards I've always been against the Bosh/Bynum trade and broke it down there many times.

The size and ability he has, can't really be duplicated by anyone else right now and its a perfect compliment to what LA has in Kobe/Pau. He's not dominant but his player arc should coincide with Kobe's perfectly to keep this ring run going.

Agreed.

Bosh/Pau means Pau has to be the defensive anchor (not his game) and it makes Bosh more of the focal point on O (he doesn't have Pau's IQ).

People wanting Bosh over Bynum are just looking at their individual resumes and now how they fit with the team.

But LA has turned the deal down before and I'm sure will again so no worries.

It comes down to health.

Can't win games/titles with potential.

Bosh has been a much healthier player. I agree that in an injury-free world, Bynum's the better option with the other pieces in place. But taking injury into account, I'd take Bosh.

But it would hurt.
