I don't think the SEC will understand this either.

SEC has tradition, too.

Will be interesting to see how things go from now on.

Is the name really going to change to "The Big 16"?

My god I can kiss 8 win seasons goodbye for a few years.....going to be a lot harder with the likes of Oregon, Oregon St, USC, and Cal....

Going to be the most interesting conference in history!

It should improve recruiting for TT, especially if Baylor gets left out.

is it going to a divided conference?
should this be a precurser to a playoff system?
how many bowl games are going to be given to this conference?
is this really what everyone wants?

I mean I am still so shocked by this that I really dont know what to say...

Is this 100 percent for sure?

Some people are reporting it is, but i think it's only about 70% certain at this point.

So does this ensure all out Big 12 meltdown, or is survival still possible if Missouri stays?

ChumpDumper

is it going to a divided conference?Arizona eastward would be the eastern division.

Why does Baylor even want to be the worst program in this new conference? Sure, the money would be good, but damn.

Is this real or not?

And why is Baylor in tyler in that picture?

I do I could smell em getting off tha elevator

This all seems way too easy and way too early, teams like Colorado and kstate don't just say, ahhh jeez I guess we gotta find a new funny conference- take their ball and go home, those are teams with loyal fan bases and recent (in my own memory) success

and I know it's AD analysis 101 but really nobody wants to pay for the womens rowing team to fly around the USA for weeks at a time

How many meets does women' rowing have? I'm sure the shit will get worked out in the next two years before the conference is officially in existence.

he's doing well so far.

true....but when you are playing in the same conference with the likes of UCLA, USC, Oregon, the horns, ags, and sooners.......recruiting priorities go up 100X.

I am just saying that I am not going to be expecting 8-10 win seasons for a while. This move to the "super conference" would actually keep Tuberville at Tech for a while.....because I could see Tuberville attaining quick success and vaulting to something better. He is going to have to double his effort with this conference move!
