The control scheme looks to be pretty solid. According to the GameInformer magazine, all of the animations that screw up your game and the difference between a made shot and a missed one is no longer an equation. Supposedly winning and losing will be more about skill and player control than mathematics. Sounds pretty intriguing to me and EA might actually sucker me into buying another basketball product made by them.

tbh 2k5 was the best. 2k6 was okay, then I got 2k7 and hated it so much I never got another 2k or live game since.

I don't like that idea at all; that's what NBA Live 99 was like. You'd figure out the timing in a few days and then you could never miss a shot again. It was ridiculous.

tbh 2k5 was the best. 2k6 was okay, then I got 2k7 and hated it so much I never got another 2k or live game since.

son tbh 2k7 was the shit. The first game I've ever used every team on the game just so I could see player's real shooting form.
