I said 6.

Obviously the league wants a game 7 as we witnessed in the second game. The Lakers will happily oblige them.

I said Lakers going into it and throughout it so I'm not going to change now, but this Celtics team just seems like they won't be denied. Fuck the home court, fuck not having (supposedly) one of the two best players in the series, none of that matters to this team, they just compete their asses off and they believe. Corny as that may sound, that's huge. I don't think there's another team in the league that genuinely believes that they can beat the Lakers in a series. The Celtics aren't going to mentally fold or lose this series; the Lakers are going to have to take it from them and win it.

Please.

The Lakers were in the game during every one of their losses. Despite some fishy ass calls.

LA will win game 6 and all the pressure shifts back to the Celtics.

While that's true in general, Celts have to close this thing out Tuesday night. A game 7 at staples with a Laker team coming off a game 6 win is the last thing that needs to happen. This is Boston's best chance right here.

Boston's best chance was to win game 3 and not go to LA. The Lakers are a dominant team at home.

Celtics are winning this thing. the Lakers don't have the bench players to step it up. it wouldn't be that big a deal if Bynum could give u anything, but he can't.

why do they have the upperhand? they've already taken one in LA, and Bynum's health has only worsened. and they have a lot of confidence. "Celtics have a shot" lmao. keep tellin' yourself that.

How many times this season did the Lakers lose 3 in a row? I think it's going to be hard for the Celts to beat the Lakers 3 straight, so the series is going to 7.

Advantage Lakers in game 7.

TheManFromAcme
06-14-2010, 06:49 AM
Very simple:

Lakers win both at home, they deserve the championship
Boston wins one or both in L.A., they deserve the championship.

There's really no argument not to mention that this Boston team was just about written off by everyone with a plethora of struggles throughout the season topped off by not having HCA.

I hate the Celts but should they pull it off...game recognizes game.
Tip yer hat off and move on.

Last thing I am going to do is make up excuses. This Laker team had/has the tools.

No, it would be because you front running bitches have been yelling back to back since the preseason, and spoke of it as a done deal. Losing would mean all of that shit being blown back in your face. You chattering hoes had better hope they pull it out, or I predict the disappearance of over half the Laker posters for at least 2 months. :lol

That's the downside of being last of the 29 teams into the shit sandwich eating area, it's not shit, but, it's stale shit and its very crowded, though seeing those O & 42! fucks makes it palatable....:blah.......see, palatable has double meaning, get it? Six AM here and I still got it. Luva, calling me from County Lockup and I still got it. The Lakers on precipice of disaster and I still got it.

If the Lakers can win both Game 6 and Game 7, then they deserve the :lobt2: and I'll tip my cap to them. They will need a complete TEAM effort to do it, though. The Celtics are a veteran team that has been here before and they can taste the title. Playing at Staples won't faze them one bit. The Lakers are gonna have to EARN this one.

I still say Boston closes it out on Tuesday night, though.

Yup on all accounts.

Although a huge portion of me tells me that if L.A. pulls out the next game, they'll take in G7. Tomorrow night is Boston's game 7 I believe although they do seem rather comfortable at Staples so a Game 7 could go either way although odds are with LA in a G7.

We shall see. Gonna be tough

I agree. Boston's best shot is Game 6. I don't think LA loses a Game 7 on their home floor. But, like you said, we shall see. :toast
