The 95 Rockets run is up there as well.
They beat the 4 best teams in the league and without HCA as they were a 6th seed.

It would be maybe the most impressive run I've seen..
-Not having HCA against Cleveland, Orlando and LA..
-Beating the top 4 players in the NBA in Wade, Lebron, Howard and Kobe..
-Nobody picking them, NOBODY..everybody counted them out..
-Not having a top 10 player in the NBA(Rondo isn't top 10, he isn't reliable enough IMO)..
-Overcoming the Phil Jackson 47-0 stat..
The series is far from over though..Boston would be the slight favorite with 2 games remaining(IMO), but they have to win 1 in LA, which will be extremely difficult..

I heard this on ESPN too
although you copied it wrong
It's the Magic, Cavs, and Lakers as #1, #2, #3 best regular season records
not the Heat

Celtics weren't able to close out the Magic or Cavs on the road. They will have to close out the defending champions on their home court where the Lakers are 47-8 this season. It's gonna be tough.

True...it IS gonna be tough. Celtics will have to bring their "A" game for sure. But, we already know they can win in LA. :toast

These San Antonio Celtics are certainly an improvement over the San Antonio Spurs and their achievement in getting the skunk applied to them by the Suns.

9-2 about to go 10-2 son. If the Lakers lose this series, you'll be joining all the other losers this season:toast

What about beating four of the five First Team players? That's gotta be a record right?

True, but they did close out both series in 6 games.

I meant 47-8, typo.
It's much harder to close out a team on the road when the home team's backs are against the wall. The Celtics won't win the hustle points in LA.

We'll find out next game. Anything else is conjecture.
