Drogba's cast was approved.
Should be an awesome match.

best African team vs. very talented portugal. Should be the most entertaining match of the cup.
I'm looking forward to Brazil rampaging N Korea.

Unfortunate that Cote d'Ivoire has been drawn into the group of death for the second straight WC. But I'm confident they can advance.

I dont really hate them, but I do hate Ronaldo. God, he is a little arrogant whining bastard.
I hope Cote d'Ivoire beats them though.

i had to use an ATDHE stream yesterday but i never had any problems. Quality wasn't HD though. If you can use ESPN3 then use it, though.

No access from Canada. A network in Canada is streaming it as well, but it's been terrible the past 2 days.

I was using Veetle through ATDHE, then I refreshed because it was a few minutes behind. It hasn't let me back since :lol
All the other links there are laggy/not in English.

Been terrible for me the past 2 days. too many Portuguese and Italians in Toronto :lol

I'd prefer English since I'm using headphones to listen as well but I'm no position to choose. I'll give it a go.

I'm rooting for Cote d'Ivoire. I can't stand Ronaldo. The sooner that egomaniac gets eliminated, the better.

I'm watching Univision instead of ESPN since I don't have ESPN. I could steam ESPN3 with my laptop onto my TV but then I wouldn't be able to surf.

Try the Radio-Canada (french CBC) feed
(I know, it's not in english)
Since there are less Anglos than Francos in Canada, it should work well

Why on earth would you not take advantage of that last corner kick? What a waste. They had to know the ref would stop it right after the kick. Might as well take a shot on goal. Terrible play to end the game.

I thought Drogba was going to put that stoppage time chance in the back of the net for some dramatics, but oh well. Was disappointed in that match overall.

This really is turning out to be one of the worst group stages in history. Between the crapfest that was the opening ceremony, the lackluster quality of the games (whatever the reason) and the fucking vuvuzelas...
I will say this though, officiating has been impecable so far. Miles ahead of what it was in 2006 and light years ahead of 2002. Props to FIFA for picking refs that know their shit, for once.

No offense uru, but that France vs Uruguay game was a borefest to anyone not from Uruguay or France. It doesn't mean much though, a lot of games this round have sucked. You should really stop taking everything as a diss on Uruguay.

Nobody wants to lose the first game. That's been the theme so far. But starting from the 2nd game on, some teams are going to start being more ambitious or they're going home.
So I expect the games to pick up soon enough.

Don't jinx it!
I prefer intense low scoring games instead of one-sided goalfests, so for me it's been great so far.
