Who the hell will get it? No one has been particularly great from either team.

If Boston wins, it has to be KG imo. His defense has been very, very good and has had the most consistent offense imo.

If LA wins, Kobe, clearly.

KG and Kobe, as DPG said..clear picks IMO..

3 for 16 Kobe Bryant? He needs to go off this half or that's a sham. The Finals MVP can't have such a crappy performance (if the Lakers win) in Game 7.

Derek Fisher should get it. Bailing out Kobe like a bails bondsman.

One game does not discount the entire series.

You do realize "that point guard dominated team" is in game 7 of the finals.

One game does not discount the entire series.

I don't care. Game 7 is the biggest game. The game where the MVP is supposed to leave his imprint, make his mark, and and show why he's the MVP.

Kobe, no question. Even with off shooting nights he has been the driving force.

Kobe is the ONLY choice.

KG would've been deserving if Boston had won.

Kobe's 2010 Finals is probably the worst Finals MVP in NBA history, off the top of my head..isn't he shooting below 40% for the series?..

kobe gets it because he is a star

He does not 100% deserve it

Kobe lit the Celtics up with that 40.4% shooting.

If Allen Iverson played for the Lakers............

Kobe lit the Celtics up with that 40.4% shooting.

Game 1 45.5
Game 2 40.0
Game 3 34.5
Game 4 45.5
Game 5 48.2
Game 6 47.4
Game 7 25.0

He had 2 bad shooting games. Overall, for the series, he shot well. And give some credit to the Celtic D. They were swarming him. He had to make some ridiculous shots.

Game 7 is not where you want the MVP to shoot 25%. No argument.

But I think there's a big brew of warm haterade impacting people who think Kobe wasn't the MVP.

Ron Artest should have garnered some consideration for his defense on Pierce...don't think Truth ever got comfortable in this series, and Artest usually single-covered the guy

Ron Artest should get the 2010 NBA Finals MVP because he's gangsta

Also, the league should take away Michael Jordan's 1996 NBA Finals MVP and give it to Luc Longley

I'm a hater.

Looks like 3 really bad shooting games and 4 decent ones.

Yep.

MJ scored 22 points on 5-of-19 (26%) shooting in game 6 to help the Bulls clinch their fourth NBA title in six years

Sometimes the Superstars numbers doesn't tell the whole story. It's all the attention the superstar gets that changes the dynamics of the game.

For me its either Kobe or Gasol, Kobe has been much more consistent than Gasol in the series minus Game 2, and their impact was were pretty even tonight. If the Finals MVP is based on the game 7, then Artest is my pick.
