Eh.. Kinda glad he didn't win another title... I guess. But the laker won this game.
People can bitch about the officials, but boston give them a reason to blow the whistle.
Nonetheless, the Lakers put the C's in lockdown D. Slow paced game, but they grinded it out and beat the Celtics at their own game.

No rings for second place.

The only happiness i have is he didn't win a championship with Celtics. Now he probably retire without a second ring.

He and the Spurs have the same amount of 2010 Championship rings.

At least he has a ECF t shirt

I would rather see Finley with 2 rings than Phill with 11, Fisher with 5 and Kobe with 5 :bang

That's the only downfall, I hope at least Timmy catches up to kobe now.

but if i had to choose, Id take finley winning a ship with boston playing very limited over kobe getting another ring and finals mvp

What's funny is that this assclown left us because he wasn't getting minutes here, then plays all of five minutes total in the Finals.

Shit the ballboy probably spent more time on the court than Finley.

Maybe now he realizes that he's fucking old, and Coach Rivers wouldn't let Finley blow him for playing time, like Pop used to do until he got tired of Finley not swallowing.

Boston might have a ring if he played.

Ray Allen 3-14 and it wasn't like every shot he took was contested.

Finley - Gone

Rasheed - Gone

Celtics - Need to start building for the future.

Ray Allen - ? He can still play but will it be for the Celts ? They should part ways and go young.

I think I'd rather fall short of the Finals rather than playing in it and losing. That must suck. In the end, there can only be one Champion.

Spurs are still undefeated in the Finals, that's pretty cool. Of course, winning it all seems like a distant dream. Tim is no longer capable of carrying this team. We are going to have to find a new way to win.

Brent Barry was on Rome last week. Rome asked him if he missed basketball. Barry said he did but he knew it was time to hang 'em up. He also said that he could have kept playing but he knew there were a lot of young players trying to make it in the NBA and he wanted to let them have a shot.

Classy guy. Finley should follow Brent's example.

So if you loved your job but a bunch of young guys fresh outa college wanted your job, you would graciously give it up?

The Finley hate is ridiculous. Are you guys still writing in your journals about the girl who broke up with you in 1995 too? He came to San Antonio as an older player, helped them win a title as a role player, was by all accounts a good teammate, and moved on. Get over it already.
