I'm willing to trade Tim, Manu, and Tony to Phx just to prevent another purple and gold parade.

But very likely we'll be here in the same gd position 365 from now.

There's no hope in the NBA...:(

I could give congrats to the Lakers if it wasn't for the disparity of calls in the 4th quarter. Seeing how I don't like the Celtics much I don't feel too bad for them. Funny, if you were trying to fuel the interest in this rivalry the outcome is exactly how it would be written. The NBA all too often looks too much like a badly written soap opera.

I'm with the majority. I hate Boston more than any other team. Their arrogance is a joke. they've won 1 title in 23 years and think they still rule everyone in the NBA. At least with the lakers they have been competitive every decade. Hell they just won their 5th champhionship in this decade alone...while going to 7 Finals in 10 years. You gotta give them their due. Congrats to them. Just look at what Paul Pierce said when they won game 2 in L.A....he said..."We aint coming back to L.A." Thats the arrogance they have. Glad to see them lose and Pierce to eat his words.

wrestling is scripted but sometimes its unpredictable.....but nba is predictable.....4th quarter fouls, no gasol travelling call proved it......

A healthy Portland team could contend w/ them.

The real scoreboard 37-17 FT.

Enough said.

Add to it... Gasol Trade, Fisher's voided contract with Utah... it's all BS.

But... eh, If we'd managed to do te same shit... I'd be laughing.

Congratulations!*

All i can imagine is Timmy with 7 :lobt2: if the Spurs had been able to steal Gasol for virtually nothing 3 years ago :bang

It's okay, for me. Let the champs be anyone but Garnett.

I'm with you on this. F Boston. F Garnett. F Pierce. F Nate Robinson.
Go pound on your chest some more after every dumb play. Suck it. I'm glad the Lakers ripped your hearts out.

Any Spurs fan who cheers for the Lakers is not a true Spurs fan and does not in any way deserve to be one.

I can't stand Garnett and Pierce, but I did admire the Celtics run this year. They showed a lot of grit, save for Ray Allen's bizarre Finals performance. I would have been OK with another Celtics title.

I'm really sick of the entire PJ/Kobe/MJ narrative. I guess casual fans really lap this stuff up, but I'm ready for someone to turn the page.

The same could be said for our Spurs. We've been stuck in the same rut since '07, and this year that rut got a lot deeper. I don't know how excited I can get about watching another predictable injury-plagued descent into mediocrity. IMO, there's nothing wrong with calling it a day. Who wants to watch Duncan slide into Toronto-era Hakeem?
I wouldn't be heartbroken to see the Spurs turn the page as well.

Im ok with going down with the ship. You gotta try as long as you can with who we have and what they have done for us. IMO.
