We aren't dirty...Denver, Seattle=dirty teams...
When the Spurs are faced with a challenge, they adjust for the next game.
When the Sonics are faced with a challenge, they try to injure the opponents.

To teach a lesson to sonics we should hard foul hard on Ray Allen and Lewish. Then Ray Allen and Lewsih will never come to the Paint and sonics will underatand what they are doing.

Yeah we read it the first time.
You dont foul them hard. After 1 loss you dont turn into the Knicks of the mid 90s or the freakin Nuggets or Sonics.
Buy a freakin brain.
Someone fly me over there and I'll piss on them for free.

From a good 10+ years of watching NBA playoff basketball, the more aggressive team usually gets the calls going their way.
TPark, your problem is you think it's an all or nothing thing. Crowbars and baseball bats or Charmin tissue paper.
There is a middle ground, you know. And you can give a playoff foul without it being flagrant.

If they were making a living driving the lane, I wouldn't have a problem with it, but it's not like they were killing us driving to the hole. They had to resort to those tactics (which are part of the game, especially in the playoffs) because Manu and Tony were shredding their (lack of) interior D. Guys tend to think about contact a little more after they've been knocked hard, but Seattle's bread and butter are jump shots and pick and rolls. I don't think a hard foul is going to rattle anyone shooting a 14-footer or rolling toward the basket in the paint. Sometimes you need a little rough play to slow down a team's offense, that just isn't the case in this series. We lost because we missed free throws and there was no weakside help on the pick and roll. Knocking Ray Allen isn't going to help with any of that.
Might hit him one time just for fun, but not as game strategy.

I get so pissed though with how other teams play Manu, they're taking like ten years off of his career, and every stupid elbow could potentially be the one that ends Manu's career, if for no other reason, we ought to protect our players, knock Jerome James on his ass.

Jerome James had 7 dunks. Antonio Daniels had 5 layups. That's not killing us going to the hole?
