Uh WRONG - compared to Spain, medical school in the US is like getting an associate degree in dental hygiene.

World Heath Organization health care systems rank by country:
(Spain is 7th, US is 37th - right below Costa Rica - health care in the US is a JOKE, even though the cost per patient is higher than any other country in the world)

France
Italy
San Marino
Andorra
Malta
Singapore
Spain
Oman
Austria
Japan
Norway
Portugal
Monaco
Greece
Iceland
Luxembourg
Netherlands
United Kingdom
Ireland
Switzerland
Belgium
Colombia
Sweden
Cyprus
Germany
Saudi Arabia
United Arab Emirates
Israel
Morocco
Canada
Finland
Australia
Chile
Denmark
Dominica
Costa Rica
United States of America
Slovenia
Cuba
Brunei
New Zealand
Bahrain
Croatia
Qatar
Kuwait
Barbados
Thailand
Czech Republic
Malaysia
Poland

Health care in the US is mainly about insurance companies getting rich and running lots of expensive tests, not basic diagnostic skills.

health care systems are not the same as health care training. U.S. has the best higher education in the world.

The US definitely has the largest higher education system in the world, and in some disciplines, particularly graduate programs in the physical sciences and engineering the US is a world leader, but in undergraduate programs the US is not nearly as rigorous as most European countries. Also, many medical schools in the US do not properly train students in diagnostic medicine -the culture of too much book learning & not enough time "riding shotgun" with doctors during too short internships creates many sub-par doctors that emerge from US medical schools.
