When will it stop? Or better yet, when will the window of opportunity for the Lakers begin to close?

I would think soon because Kobe is approaching the wrong side of 30. But even at that, Gasol would take a large amount of the load, along with the emergence of Bynum.

uhh Kobe is 32 soon. He's already on the wrong side of 30, not approaching it.

You have to wonder if the injury bug will ever set in, it did a little with Kobe and Bynum, Gasol, but for the most part this Lakers team has remained healthy come the playoffs and had to beat Boston in 7 games. Depends what happens in the offseason but this Lakers team as it currently will be very beatable next season in a 7 game series in the playoffs. The Thunder gave them a scare and Boston took them to 7 games, plus after three straight NBA finals appearences wear and tear will set in eventually. While beatable, they seem to be able to play well when it matters most at crucial times in the game, which is why they have won back to back NBA titles.
