Even though I probably won't play it much (I really shouldn't), I think I'll pick this one up. I stopped playing around 2006 (CS 1.6), but the price is just too good.

I used to get high and play online all the time. Hadn't heard about it in a long time.

Already have it but maybe I'll buy another so my son can play at the same time.

Ok... let me be the first.

I've played this game since Feb 2005... over the years I've kept playing it... especially the mods, SK, GunGame, zombiemod... etc and that's what's kept me entertained.

The reason it's on special, is because they recently released an update that's pretty much making it TF2...2.

They just totally killed modded maps and games... there's too many things I can complain about, I don't know if I'll ever play this game again

I played I bit last night, still enjoyed it. But playing without my fined tuned settings (sensitivity, yaw, pitch, etc) and buy scripts was something else.

Never played the mods but I could understand why it would suck if an update broke them. Question is are they fixable?

As for the good ole fashioned version of the game, seems pretty similar but maybe n00bified, but that's okay.

I used to play the warcraft mod, it was awesome. You can be an undead (faster speed/high jump and suicide bombing), human (invisibility, more HP, teleport), Orc (6X grenade damage, lighting strikes) and Elf (freeze opponents, higher damage).

I probably played that mod for the last year of my CS playing days.
