World Cup reporter slapped by Algerian player (http://content.usatoday.com/communities/gameon/post/2010/06/world-cup-reporter-slapped-by-alegerian-player/1)
Asma Halimi, a female reporter from Competition, was slapped in the face (http://g.sports.yahoo.com/soccer/world-cup/news/algeria-star-slaps-female-reporter--fbintl_ro-algeria062310.html) by Rafik Saifi of Algeria after his team lost 1-0 to the USA in the World Cup.
Halimi would hit Saifi back and cause his lip to bleed.
Martin Rodgers of Yahoo reports that Saifi struck the reporter with his open hand and then threw a bottle at wall before Halimi was escorted away by security.
"I said nothing to him and he reached over and hit me," Halimi, who had a previous disagreement with the player over an article, told Yahoo. "So I hit him back. I said nothing to him first."
Halimi said she would lodge a protest with FIFA.
