O ανώτατος συντελεστής στην εφορία των επαγγελματιών αθλητών είναι 44.2%. Επί της ουσίας, όμως, είναι ... 80% στο υψηλότερο κλιμάκιo (για συμβόλαια με καθαρές αποδοχές 1.000.000 ευρώ) και γι αυτό ο ΕΣΑΚΕ κινητοποιήθηκε άμεσα.


Η συνεδρίαση της λίγκας όπου έδωσαν το παρών οι αδερφοί Αγγελόπουλοι και ο Θανάσης Γιαννακόπουλος, ήταν έκτακτη. Κι όπως όλοι είπαν, αμέσως μετά, εφόσον εφαρμοστεί το συγκεκριμένο φορολογικό νομοσχέδιο το μπάσκετ οδηγείται με μαθηματική ακρίβεια σε αφανισμό!

"Όλοι θέλουμε να βοηθήσουμε την Πολιτεία, ειδικά σε αυτές τις δύσκολες εποχές. Είναι σωστό να υπάρχει υψηλή φορολόγηση. Όχι όμως και να εφαρμοστεί αυτός ο εξοντωτικός νόμος" είπε βγαίνοντας από τα Γραφεία της οδού Ερατοσθένους, ο Θ.Γιαννακόπουλος: "Πρέπει να γίνει κάτι, γιατί δεν θα μείνει τίποτε όρθιο στο μπάσκετ. Η φορολογία φτάνει στο 80%. Είναι πρωτοφανές".

Ο πρόεδρος του ΕΣΑΚΕ, Βασίλης Οικονομίδης που ξεκινάει μια σειρά επαφών με κυβερνητικά στελέχη, αλλά και ιθύνοντες των φορέων των άλλων σπορ, υπογράμμισε: "Έγινε μια διεξοδική συζήτηση για το φορολογικό. Τυπικά μιλάμε για συνετελεστή που φτάνει μέχρι το 45%, αλλά ουσιαστικά είναι 80%. Κανείς δεν αντιτίθεται στην φορολόγηση. Όλοι το δεχόμαστε κι όλοι πρέπει να υπακούσουμε στους νόμους. Πάνω απ' όλα γνωρίζουμε τί συμβαίνει στην ελληνική κοινωνία και δεν είμαστε αποκομμένοι από την πραγματικότητα. Η γραμμή πρέπει να είναι κοινή και ήδη προγραμματίζουμε μια σειρά από επαφές, γιατί όλοι αιφνιδιάστηκαν. Άλλα είχαν υπολογίσει, άλλα εν τέλει θα ισχύσουν. Αν εφαρμοστεί ο νόμος, πάντως, είναι βέβαιο ότι πολλές ομάδες, αν όχι όλες, δεν πρόκειται να αγωνιστούν στο νέο πρωτάθλημα".

Γιατί αιφνιδιάστηκαν

Η αλήθεια είναι ότι κανείς δεν περίμενε πόσο ... ψηλά θα έβγαιναν οι νέοι φόροι. Ούτε το ΔΝΤ δεν θα αποφάσιζε να βάλει το χέρι τόσο βαθιά στα Ταμεία των ΚΑΕ.

Γιατί μιλάνε για 80%; Για να εισπράξει ένας μπασκετμπολίστας καθαρά χρήματα 1.000.000 ευρώ, θα πρέπει να έχει μικτές αποδοχές 1.800.000. Οι 800.000 πάνε στην εφορία. Για παράδειγμα, ο Δημήτρης Διαμαντίδης που πρόσφατα ανανέωσε τη συνεργασία του με τον Παναθηναϊκό, για να πάρει 2.000.000 ευρώ, το συμβόλαιό του θα είναι... 3.600.000 ώστε το 1.6 εκατ, να πάει στην εφορία. Ακόμη και η ΚΑΕ Παναθηναϊκός δεν μπορεί να πληρώσει τόσο μεγάλη εφορία.

Υψηλή φορολόγηση, ωστόσο, υπάρχει και στις υπόλοιπες κλίμακες. Για να πάρει ένας παίκτης 123.400 ευρώ (ένα συνηθισμένο συμβόλαιο στην Α1) οι μικτές αποδοχές είναι 200.000 και ο φόρος 76.000. Δηλαδή το 61.7% των καθαρών αποδοχών (φορολογικός συντελεστής: 40.5%)

Προφανώς το πρόβλημα δεν αφορά μόνο τις εύρωστες ΚΑΕ, αλλά και τις μικρότερες ομάδες (και της Α2). Γι αυτό το λόγο προγραμματίζεται συνάντηση και με την ΕΟΚ.

Στο περιθώριο του έκτακτου Δ.Σ. του ΕΣΑΚΕ, οι δημοσιογράφοι ρώτησαν τόσο τον Θανάση Γιαννακόπουλο, όσο και τους αδερφούς Αγγελόπουλου για τις εξελίξεις στο θέμα του Σπανούλη, ωστόσο ο ένας παρέπεμψε στους άλλους και τούμπαλιν για την απάντηση!

Usually such moves are created so there is a place to move back from. Look for a 35% tax on profits, 10% on gross revenue and a sales tax of 15% at the gate.

Government made another new rule that is even worse. Now not only will government taxes be 80% on player contracts that the clubs have to pay but now also the club's must pay THREE EUROS LUXURY TAX to government for each euro they spend on a contract over 2 million euro per season.

So a 2.4 million contract will cost the team 13.2 million per season. And Childress is to earn 5.5 just this season. He will cost more than the entire Euroleague champion team Barcelona cost if he refuses to leave the team. Fucking government.
