While I'm sure at this point the Heat would LOVE for somebody to take him off the roster sheet and his salary where the hell would he fit? He doesn't play he defense he takes bad shots for his size he doesn't rebound. Overall a horrible player for our team. I wish to hell we had pushed for Noah last year now I can't see Chicago parting with him.

We don't have the cap space Miami wants. Otherwise, absolutely... it's still early days in his career, although I would worry that Pop would break him like he did Beno. Beasley's biggest problem is that he really doesn't want to play basketball for a living.

The Heat should be trying to get rid of him and Beasley could use a change of scenery but I don't think the Spurs bite. Beasley didn't look like he could play defense on any Celtics forward and even sat the entire second half of their elimination game.

He doesn't seem to have a strong mentality and would likely fold under Pop's no-bullshit style of coaching.

He'd be a hell of a lot better than Bogans though.

Exactly. And he's about as antithetical to Spurs' basketball as you get.

beasley's lack of a brain and worth ethic will limit him to be a role player the rest of his career.

Folks, this is all that matters.

Miami wants to give Beasley away in order to increase available cap space. The Spurs can't help them in that regard.

If he's moved it will be to a team with cap space, a trade exception large enough to absorb his contract, or for a player with an unguaranteed or largely unguaranteed contract.

Beasley is a mental midget - more than Bonner is.

i would like the spurs to try and get him, the heat are basically giving him away

Let's examine that statement. He's a former #2 overall pick, AND THE HEAT DON'T WANT HIM ANYMORE. Now, you have to ask yourself, why are they doing that? It's probably because he sucks. He can't defend either forward position. You can probably get away with that if you're an offensive force, but he can't even seem to put forth the effort on that side of the ball. WTF? You have to wonder if he even likes playing basketball.

Nevermind, Riley said Beasley is not on the trading block.

Nevermind, Riley said Beasley is not on the trading block.

He's trying reverse psychology. No one is biting when he's shopping him, so he pulls him off the market. :lol

:lol I love how Riley says he's not on the market and they want to build around him, when they tried dumping him for freakin Keyon Dooling.

Alright it looks like your checking out the guys but that is aight! Beasley is not a terrible atlhete! He just needs to get to a good coach that will change his attitude just like J.R Smith needs! pretty simple and he has great hands! quick for a PF! A good coach could make him a great player!

A good coach can never make a player great, only the player himself can do that.

Beasley is one of the most narcissistic players in the game.

NO WAY.
