Game 1! 9pm cst Whoa!
Urunobili what do the people of your country do the night before? Is it a night of partying followed by an early morning of partying for the game?

How in the hell did he get that cross through? Keeper should have swallowed that one. Nice goal though.

Why are the south Koreans the only team who can seem to get this jabulani to bend downward on set pieces? Also, has anyone scored on a corner off a direct kick into the box all tournament?

Ohh, I personally died a couple of times as Japan were scoring at will on free kicks against Denmark.

Pretty impressed with Uruguay's defense. I know they can be explosive offensively; but with their defense they could advance to the semi's.

Maybe Japan was the team I was thinking of. I'm not familiar with the Asian teams but I knew it was one of them that was getting the ball to dip.

Answer: No.

Have I watched the tournament? Yes. Have I watched every minute of every game? No. I do have a career and family to maintain. I just didn't remember anyone scoring off of corners with balls hit directly for headers or one touches, so I asked if anyone else had. Thank you very much for being a dick about it. :toast

Uruguay needs some possession and stop giving SK full on runs at their goal. This might get ties quickly if this continues.

Good game nonetheless. At least it avoids the S.Korea vs. USA matchup.

Congratulations Uruguay!

:lol that's something I never thought I'd hear anyone say about American soccer. Uruguay v USA would be a very evenly matched game with the edge to Uruguay I think. They do have a very organized defense.
