Basically Sandler's character is playing basketball and he keeps making bank shots the way Timmy does it. Then his son says something like that shot is weird (or something like that... I wasnt paying attention) Then Kevin James says like "Tim Duncan made 100 gamewinners using that shot."

Just thought I share.

Anything Tim Duncan related must be shared on Spurstalk. Now I am slightly more inclined to go watch this movie.

I love when Tim Duncan or the Spurs get referenced anywhere.

I guess it just depends on age. My friends and I saw it and and we were laughing for most of the time.

harlemheat is 45 years old that's why he doesn't want to see a movie about adults...

I heard from some friends that it was a good movie, I may need to go watch it for myself.

Same here, love it and always SURPRISED when they are referenced, especially in movies.

I remember how I thought "Forget Paris" was awesome when I first saw it! :lol

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion and everybody has their own taste in movies, it's an aspect that can't be judged by one person..I'm just saying, the trailer looks extremely stupid and it got 8% on Rotten Tomatoes so far, my opinion of course..

To me, it looks like they just took a couple of big names and threw them all in one movie without any direction..Rob Schneider probably needed money, so they made this movie as a favor..

I had the exact same opinion as you coming into the movie. However, it wasnt that bad. Some of the jokes were flat but it was still watchable.

8% on rotten tomatoes is like the fourth kind equivalent kind of movie.

I watched The Fourth Kind last night, and that was total garbage, the trailer made it look ok. Grown Ups has to be funny with Dan Patrick in it.
