Do you think he'll be back next season? Hewas pretty good when he got playing time last season? Will he be part of the roster this upcoming season?

I think we will see him in camp. Too much potential, attitude and willingness to work hard to not see more of in training camp. No loss in taking another look.

I'm sure Temple will be back, he can run the PG when either Hill or Parker are both on the bench or just play SG.

i fully expect him to, he is a pretty good set shooter for nba three point range and can be a future spurs role player who is a good defender.

some video of his shooting = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIC_W27ghnA

Nice to see him make 7 3s in one game. but When you go there you can find some additional Temple highlight vids when he was with the Kings and Rockets.

Them important thing is that they are pretty varied. One he comes out of nowhere to block Shawn Marion dunk. On another one he goes coast to coast for a dunk of his own.

I don't think his good showing as a Spur was necessarily a fluke against scrubs. He may be on the bubble as a rookie, but I think he has the talent and athleticism to make it on the right team. We may be the one where he fits.

I expect Temple to make the Spurs roster next season, I'm sure he shows good worth ethic and does focus on the defensive side of the court. He also has that nice jumper.

I like what I saw from Temple and hope he makes the team.

I'll definitely be rooting for GT. Dude helped the Spurs solidify a playoff spot when injuries made our PG situation questionable down the stretch at the end of the season with the team having no margin for error. He also showed some slashing ability and some good one-on-one defensive potential (the latter of which will especially keep him around if it comes down to him and another guard hopeful).

With the lack of depth at PG and him seeming to pick up on the system and how Pop wants him to play faster than anybody I can think of... Spurs would be crazy to not bring him back.

I would like to see us go head and sign the cat before someone else beats us to it.

They already have signed Temple.

For how long, on the cap sheet it shows he if FA and Gee and Hairston are signed for next year?

Don't know what you're looking at, but Temple is signed to a partially guaranteed through the end of the 2010-11 season. He'll be a Spur this season unless he is cut.

I like him and he might cut it as a backup to TP during the regular season, but I think we need a more solid/experienced backup PG behind Tony if we make the playoffs...

He was better than expected and did help the Spurs in their most impressive stretch of the season.

As a Spur he was able to hit the corner 3's and finish in the paint on a NBA level. Everywhere else on the court he needs to work on but he was a rookie. Temple also offers height/length at the PG spot for the Spurs. Seems like the Spurs best option (at backing up Parker/Hill/Manu) and it'll be interesting to see if he can pull a George Hill and have a break-out sophomore season! Also seems to shoot free throws like a Spur ;) :downspin:

I like his length at pg spot. He also has a defense-oriented mindset.

hill is not going to run point next year if temple plays well

So you're saying we'll have Ginobili, Hill and Anderson at shooting guard, or do you think one of the above will get most of their time at SF (or do you think we'll trade one of them)?

Also love his Garrett's length and abilities as backup PG. Hopefully he can work his way into a primary backup PG position.

am sure he will make it to the team as the 3rd PG.....
